never been his biggest fan but thought he played well before his goal. his best game for spurs against the toughest possible opposition. gotta give credit where its due.

I think we need to end this Rose vs Davies mentality. They're both very good Left-Backs- people don't need to pick a side :)

I thought his goal was brilliant. First, that he was there at all, and then that he slotted it through quite a narrow gap while under tremendous pressure. As far from a simple tap-in off a rebound as you can get.

He and Davies complement each other nicely in that position. I don't think upgrading LB is a priority (not that anyone's necessarily saying it is).

The one of bolded is the most important quote IMO and something that makes me very happy :) Bye bye Ade in that case. @thinktank @Mr Pink

Great quotes there from Danny!
Has it already been mentioned about his goal celebration of covering his mouth?
Wonder if that was to the fans?

I was disgusted when I saw his name in the starting line-up. The mistake for Chelsea's first goal aside, I thought he had a decent game. That was until I watched the game again and I realised he was fucking outstanding. He was the essence of tigerish, with phenomenal strength for a small man-he wanted to clobber all-comers. I thought his energy in supplementing the attack was A1 and he made at least two great last ditch tackles. Where on earth did he pull this performance from? Amazing stuff, Danny Boy.

I'll be very surprised if Rose is sold this summer, or ends up playing in the championship anytime soon.

Fancy a wager either way, gents? £10 to SC?

TT, we'll know by end of August next year.

SK, shall we say 3 years from now?

Sounds good to me, though the way we're playing he'll probably still be at Spurs when he becomes a Championship player.

Just dropping this off in here, lads. Hope that's cool with you :)

I'm absolutely astonished at the improvement Rose has made since last season. Looks a completely different player.

Playing well. Hope that people writing off our young players take a look at Rose, Kane and Mason and think before they start calling them shit. Or even better don't call our players shit.

The way he's playing right now is no surprise to those who didn't forget how brilliant he was before his injury last season

Walker/Rose offers us so much more width than any other FB combo. It took both of them being out for me to realize that, but I will do my best not to complain about them again.

Never been his biggest fan and it still hurts me the very rare occasion he jogs back slowly. The fact is these occasions are incredibly rare an he has been pretty damn good this year. Great to have two quality young LB's at the club for the first time in years.

He has improved significantly this season and is actually fulfilling his potential. Is Davies up for the challenge to rise above him again? Don't know a whole lot about the guy, but I hope so!

Ben is only 21. He'll improve. Having him lets Poch rotate the fullbacks keeping them fresh and makes them work hard. Ben will work really hard in the Fiorentina game as he'll want a spot in the cup final as will Rose for the Arsenal game.
