Fiesty, combative, energetic, attacking and defending with aplomb. And yes the ball did go out with Hazard but play to the whistle next time. However a big congratulations to you Danny Rose. A wonderful performance which I enjoyed thoroughly especially the sprint from 30 plus meters out to get the goal. Keep it up lad! (y)

I have to say he was very brave when taking his goal, Cahill absolutely crunched him and it would have been easy to wimp out on the shot for fear of getting injured as Cahill came sliding in, but he did not waiver.

Agreed he did well yesterday still must improve his one on one defending too many chances coming in from his wing..

Definitely. But credit where credit is due.

great performance yesterday

5 tackles
3 interceptions
4 clearances and only gave away one foul

He got done by Hazard for their first goal - im sure he knows he should ave done much better in that situation but overall a great performance.

How great is it to have genuine competition for the left back position. Its no mystery that each of Rose and Davies keep upping their games when given the chance.

That`s fair and his forward play was exceptional also agreed Davies his pushing him to be better and visa versa

He was a contender for man of the match .

I don't think the TV pundits gave him anywhere near enough credit .

Vertongen doesn't exactly give him much cover .

My mother in law was complaining that she had no tv for 3 hours yesterday because the football was on. But when I got back from the game I heard that she spent most of the time praising Danny Rose. When she complained about MOTD being on last night I stopped her in her tracks by asking her what she thought of Rose. 'Oh yeah, Danny Rose, he was very good. And so was Harry Kane'. At which point she went to bed without any more complaints. Good work Rose. Silencing your critics is one thing. Silencing my mother in law? Genius.

Props to Danny Rose yesterday. Im not his biggest fan. but brave goal. And the moment that had me standing and applauding was that tackle on ivanovic in our penalty area. absolute perfectly times tackle. taking man and ball. loved that.

But hell. I would praise the ball boys today I am in that good a mood.

Hazard swapping to the left let Rose off the hook, IMO.

Did a bit, however it is also what freed Chadli up in the second half. He did a fair bit of tracking back in the first - got the feeling it had a bit to do with not wanting to let his Belgian team mate show him up!

Rose all round had a good game, but he was at fault for the first goal and was struggling afterwards until the whole team got that lift through Kane's equaliser.
Brave for the goal, clever to let it run across and hit it with his left, but he did make some poor decisions. Overall for yesterday I give him a 7.

That said every player across the back 4 had a complete brain fart at one time or another and we can be grateful that yesterday we were so good going forward.

There were head in the hands moments for all of them at the back.

I said at the time of Fazio;s mistake that led to the 2nd goal for them that i was actually happier to concede what was so obviously a nightmare brain fart moment and not via something that we felt was an injustice.

We managed to just brush it off as a mistake and get on with things rather than dwelling on it.

Very un spurs like!

That was an interesting (and when I say interesting, I mean "what a slip up Jose, wtf?") decision for sure. Was he trying to get Willian into the game more? If he was it didn't work at all, indeed it put Hazard against someone who could cope with him far more 1v1 in Walker.

Gave it the bollocks yesterday, sterling effort.

Despite thumping the chavs though, our defence still conspired to let 3 goals in. Limitations are still there to see.
