I'd go 4-4-1-1 in this, set up in the opposite way to which Redknapp used to set us up. Walker as RB allowed to bomb forward, with Stambouli covering when he does - and Stambouli able to tuck in to create a midfield three when we're defending. Rose to sit and Townsend to offer genuine width on the left.
If it's not working we can easily switch it to a genuine 4-3-3 or swap out Stambouli for Chadli or Dembele to go back to a 4-2-3-1.
The benefit of 4-4-1-1 though is that it's solid in the middle and offers genuine width in attacking positions. We've played it twice this season - been two of the best performances we've put in...
