And he has played quite a few games as CB.
I think he had an accident with Jeff Goldblum's machine from 'The Fly' and the wrinkled nut sack of Phil Jupitus, it's the only explanation. That guy looks like he's in his 80s. Not sure what happened there.
It's instructive to visit Squawka and compare his stats for tackles, interceptions, etc with Schneiderlin's.
Again, it says a lot to me that Bielsa was hugely pissed off that we beat Marseille to this guy.
Id just be repeating what I already said about him tbf. It was insinuating that I'm still not.convinced. But I get it, hes flavour of the week this week. Next week it'll be OK to question himI think the problem with your first post, like many other posts on SC, is that there was no content. You just 'stated your opinion' that you don't like him. Why should we care, unless you tell us why? Making a negative comment abou a Spurs player (or any player, really) without contributing an argument is really just spam.

I couldn't really give a fuck about your rationale for posting to be honest, David.I have this rather unusual (for SC) habit. If I don't have anything substantive to add, I don't post.
What I especially don't do is to 'state my opinion', as if that had any value by itself. I make observations and draw conclusions, usually on a match-by-match basis.
The other thing I don't so is to say what players 'are', as in 'Jenas is shit'. I write about what they 'do', because it's more consistent with making observations and drawing conclusions. When a player keeps doing the same thing, good or bad, over and over, I might start to draw more general conclusions about what he does and what it says about his abilities or attitude. But it takes me a while to get to that point.
The world really doesn't give a fuck whether or not I 'like him' - Stambouli or anyone else. So I don't waste people's time by telling them.

It was certainly a factor.Seeing a lot of positive reviews for Stambouli's performance at CB against Sydney. I didn't manage to catch the game, but the response seems to be a rather overwhelming notice of a strong display.
I'm certainly not opposed to him being moved there, but correct me if I'm wrong, didn't we read that part of his decision in choosing us over Marseille was that they wanted him to primarily play CB and we wanted him for DM?
Height is overrated for CBs (imo).A bit short for a CB though, no? How was his aerial game last night?
We were playing against the equivalent of a league one team in a friendly. Why as fans do we hype players up of the back of games that mean nothing?Height is overrated for CBs (imo).
Either way, he is the same height (5'11") as Musacchio, who everyone was clamoring to sign last summer.

He did well, and also helped us start attacks from the back, we look composed with him there.... but i will reserve judegment on him at CB after he marks the top strikers in the prem league.
As for being too short? shouldn't really be a problem, football isn't about long balls into the box so much, and anyhow Fazio is a giant but never seems to clear any high balls coming into our box
