Too old? He's only 28 and has a lot of experience, which we need, and is playing for a team which literally does what Pochettino will, I'm sure, eventually want.

Schneiderlin says he is hopeful of concluding a deal before the start of pre-season training.
"The negotiations are ongoing and should be completed in the coming days, hopefully before the resumption of [Southampton's pre-season] training next week," he told France Bleu Alsace radio statio at a community event at former club Strasbourg.

Worse than yedlin's talent (or lack thereof), about which there has been at least some pseudo-ITK, why are we discussing the merits of the USA coaching system. I'm pretty sure ther has been no ITK on this.

Maybe. But if we expected to tie it up by next week, I'm sure one of ours would be crowing about it. As it stands the noises coming from both Soton and Arsenal Itk's is that they have agreed a deal.

He's 28 and a fantastic player. He's very skilful, strong and a David Silva type player who won't rapidly deteriorate over the next 2-3 years as he's not reliant on pace (pretty slow) and will therefore not need to adapt his game. In saying that, the press are quoting figures of £25m which instantly rules us out.
I'm going to be completely honest here. I've never felt Schneiderlin would come here. We dont spend that kind of money on the fee or wages. Also, we dont offer Champions League football, nor do we offer the material ambition to get there.
Also, El. Oh. El. at the Turan thing.

Just to confirm, JJ's tweet could be about anything, not necessarily Schneiderlin, though it is Spurs related, so it's not about what he is having for dinner next Thursday.
