hertyid on ade: Amazing that this hasn't been announced yet. I will eat my Spurs beanie if it's not official in the next 24 hours.
The ITK says that it is WBA wanting more not SB messing us about.SB isnt good enough to be dicking us around in my opinion, if he waiting for a better club id sooner move on.
Pretty sure there's ITK today saying the hold up is the club waiting/hoping one of the mancs come in with a bigger fee offerI think his honest motivation for hesitation is being afraid of Kane. That's my two cents. I don't think he can stomach being behind him in the pecking order.
To be fair, we've had quite a detailed update suggesting otherwise, one can be excused for thinking either or.
The player or the club? it sounds like it is WBA more than the player.SB isnt good enough to be dicking us around in my opinion, if he waiting for a better club id sooner move on.

No itk about Saido causing the delay at all. Its WBA who are hoping for the bidding war. Saido would join us immediately if the clubs agreed a fee

Must have missed the one claiming it was the player, only saw the club oneThat's my point. We've had updates, today, portraying both sides of the story.
Both that the club, and that the player, is holding out for Manchester clubs.
1 update from one of our regular ITKs, one update from one of our regular users meeting agents.
Ergo, not easy to be too adamant about this transfer.
I too think he would get plenty of games. But what if he feels inferior to Kane after having gotten to know him? They manage to form a brilliant partnership for england u21's. Don't see why they can't with us. He can play lwf or rwf as well as up front on his own. He will get plenty of games.

Wasn't the ITK from the heavy hitters last week coming from Berahino's agents as well? That tells me that he would have no problems joining if we agreed a fee. The fee is always going to be the sticking point as WBA hold all of the cards. No release clause, no contract running down, player seems to be happy and not kicking up a fuss to move.

This is just a general observation not specific to you ES.
Yeah I know. But I see no conflict between that and what I'm suspecting. Quite the contrary.I doubt it all the rumours are that he is a bit arrogant.
