For somebody

Very true, Rodger's strategy for building the largest squad in English football is definitely a concern. They currently list 37 first team players to our 25. And I only count 15 midfielders. That's getting a little thin in the middle considering they've got 8 players for the one forward position.

His in-game management does seem to leave a fair bit to be desired. Definitely a training ground manager. Odd when you consider he played at a high level. Hopefully it's something he improves upon.
Or hopefully it's something the players improve on in terms of understanding his methods and adapting to them. Some of the best managers are the ones who make unusual decisions but when they come off they are a genius. I think our players are still too young to make it work but maybe in time as they mature they'll buy into the philosophy of Pochettino. Even if some of his methods seem crazy :D

Does anyone see Levy forking out for two sets of train fares?

Return Saver ticket.

He can bill WBA for Fazio's journey out, leaving only a little extra to cover for the return section of the Journey for SB ;)

He's really insistent. I think it's unlikely after the comment today but it's hard to look past this itk when he's so adamant about the transfer going ahead.
But then again it's like a stand they have to take. The fact that they even mentioned it at all is a bit weird as players are bid for and those bids are rejected all true time but only get speculated in the press and not on club website.

Two things this is either to drive up price and interest from others OR it's a thing the chairman can use to say "well we got the best deal we could" for a player that many of their fans like. They wouldn't have bought quite so many strikers me thinks if they thought he was staying but this is all speculation but I have a strong hunch we could be getting our man

Makes me think his confidence is based on actually "knowing" what Berahino wants. I just hope he's not setting himself up for a fall given the way things have gone for Jasper lately.

Agreed. It always makes me slightly nervous when info is so definitive. Mainly because those challenged in the grey matter department can't always reconcile things when something changes.

Still. Fingers crossed.

This is what happened when POTL went all-in on Willian. The negative reaction was overwhelming, which was the final nail in the coffin for him. He decided he didn't want to be on the receiving end any more.

That's a fact is it?

Berahino only happens if he put in a transfer request now, you can't go saying what peace has said and then just sell unless there is a massive change in circumstances!!

I do miss POTL - i always hope that somewhere he has re-incarnated as another poster because always had faith in him. May have lead us on a merry dance with Blue + Yellow and Willian may have gone tits up but thats the way it goes sometimes.

So Stones will not be going to Chelsea either then.
Sometimes things are said which they dont mean, all an act to keep fanbase onside.
Hopefully that is the case with Berahino - already in my fantasy team based on what he will do for Spurs.

Live by the sword die by the sword. This is balls on the line ITK. The stuff legends are made of. That folklore through the ages will comment on, and say 'I was there'.
Yes, it has all the hallmarks of a transfer window classic. I thought Friday night with N'Jie was intense but this could blow it out the water

Agreed. I mean you NEVER get a chairman say he won't sell for him to eventually sell. That never happens. Not even to Spurs three times.
