He's not shit no, just not suited to our league, most of the posters who thought Soldado should move on also stated he would probably start scoring again in Spain.
Take a look at the goal and the volley he had, you don't get that sort of space in the PL.

Nothing to do with our league, he's not suited to the horseshit style of play we have had over the last 2-3 seasons. We have relied on individuals to score the majority of our goals and have no real attacking game plan as a team unit. Thats why Bobby failed here, I hate to say it but it's true. He will get over 15 goals in Spain this season I have no doubt about it, he's a finisher. Some teams can create that space for their strikers unfortuneatly of late we can't, we have no movement up front, Kane is left isolated far too often.

Exactly! La Liga is overrated. People think it is great because players look technically brilliant but fuck me I would look good playing in La Liga if I had all that time on the ball.

At least Bobby had the balls to try whereas some players won't come here because they know they can't deliver. Example being Rivaldo.

And yet Premiership teams get constantly whipped by their La Liga counterparts?

They don't do to bad winning European competitions either.

this bullshit about never getting space in the Premier League really fucks me off. do you guys actually watch the games you're talking about?

Should have had a wager on him scoring on his debut, was always going to happen.

Good on ya bobby!

Proper glad for him. The biggest thing he lacked over here early on was luck. He had not one scrap of it, regardless of working really hard every game. Once his confidence was battered by something that every striker relies on (probably more than they'd like to admit) he couldn't find his way back.

Here's hoping that we sold them Soldado so that we have right of first refusal for Musacchio. Thanks Roberto! (y)

if you watch the replay of the goal carefully you can see him look around and think I never had this much time on the ball in the premiership...

God bless you Bobby would love to see him find his form again back in Spain
That is exactly what I thought, the amount of time he had for the goal and at other times was incredible. He just didn't suit playing in our league.

Think what he could do if they signed Andros to provide him with pinpoint crosses. I think Bobby would crawl into a hole and die at the thought of waiting 4 minutes for that cross to come sailing over his head

Told you guys before signing him that this was a grave mistake and that he's a mediocre striker, the sort that don't cut it in the prem, and now we've had to sell him at a loss. The people making the signings for our club are absolutely clueless.

He will prefer Spannish defences as he said when be inviewed on Spannish TV last week, because it made the inviewed laugh!

He looked so much more relaxed yesterday!

Don't disagree with this for general play, though it doesn't excuse the 20 odd GILT EDGE chances that he missed for us.
