I am sat here in Southern China with SC pages on constant refresh. JD and coke next to me. Outside it is over 30'C and my little un and wife have decided today of all days they want to go to a park for the evening. Suddenly my knee (true injury last month) is playing up again and they have just left me for about 3 hours. It only cost about 3quid on ice creams! Thinking hard how I can get them to stay out for another 2/3 hours without them getting too suspicious.
Any ITK is great even if not positive- but I am very positive. It's a lovely day outside and JD and I are happy together
What the fuck is Jermain Defoe doing in China? ITK? Is this in someway connected to Berahino?? OMG we're all doomed aren't we?

For those saying 'hopefully we can now focus on a DM'- don't you think we're probably do more than one deal at any time...

The backups will be Austin (who JJ has stated we have no interest in) and... well, exactly.

If it gets too late, the only thing we can do is pull back on Adebayor's potential move to wherever he decides "he feels like" playing. That is a last resort.

The DM is the problem too. Although Dier was excellent on Saturday, he's not the answer.

Pretty sure the CM backup will be Rabiot on loan with no option. That's been on the table all summer

WHU have filled their quota on EPL loans so they can not loan Ade now! And they are not going to buy him. I think Levy's back up plan for a CF is Ade - He will say you have a CF get the best out of him Poch I am not paying him 100k a week for nothing. Still not sure why we are talking about Barahino and Wanyama, I know the media and SSN will because they love that kind of thing, but lets be honest we have known for a while these will not happen, should have had (and I hope we do) back ups we have been working on all this time and we sign them today!

May be I am way too optimistic - JJ doesnt do repetitive tweets - not in space of minutes. For him to show shock & surprise , may be means another deal is also close

I think we're going to struggle with a DM. Berahino would be a brilliant signing though. Just wondering how the WBA chairman is going to explain things.
I might be jumping the gun, but we have made progress with both.

I think other windows being closed doesn't help us - we can only buy from teams that are confident they don't need to replace a player.
Can Dortmund afford to let Bender go with no replacement possible?

Hopefully there are options in the leagues that still have windows open...
Portugal?
Finland...
Romania...
Ukraine...
Israel...
Scotland...
Totally disagree... it should make it much easier to get deals done. Yes I appreciate there will be a restriction if clubs don't feel they can afford to lose a player, but in all seriousness, I am sure any bids we make will be for players we have already lined up. I.e. the clubs and players were sounded out and we were likely asked to wait until other options etc had been weighed up and thus not a surprise. I now see it as us having free shots at our targets (unless any other EPL clubs come in).
