I hope if we can't sign players who clearly improve the first team then we don't sign anyone at all. We don't need any more stocking fillers. No more tangerines, nuts, three ring metal puzzles. And just to clarify, Berahino is a very expensive tangerine.

I don't mind someone like Embolo. Like a super complex Airfix model. It's not the ready to roll gift, it will take a bit of time to put together, but once put together will be awesome.

One of the best things about JJ, although at the time we don't always think it, is that he has no qualms about being unpopular by letting us know bad news or being negative in the face of other media noise.

If he is still content and is saying positive things on SB, then there is no need for meltdowns yet, and perhaps even a little optimism.
