And when he learns to tackle he will stay on longer, he put Poch under pressure.
Can't agree with that. When you play a high press, harassing, nipping at the heels type of game you are going to get bookings. It's his 5th booking in 12 games. Dier had 5 after 8 or so. Did you think the same about him each time he got booked?

What did he say?

the usual mate. refused point blank to give us any credit and basically said the fact they didn't win was down to injuries and cazorla having a dizzy spell. even when the interviewer mentioned we murdered them in midfield, again it was because cazorla was dizzy.

What.

This young team of ours is improving slowly but surely. 12 months ago we'd have lost that game on the back of playing in Europe on the previous Thursday.

Much to be proud of today, despite the sadness I feel right now about the 2 points dropped.

Well, turns out Son for Lamela WASN'T such a game changing sub after all. Lol.

Loved that game. Our young guns were awesome and we really should have won it by 60 minutes. But we didn't
So we move m.

Might have been game changing if we left it and Eric had of dived in again. He was definitely on his last life tackle wise.

Yup. Really does show just how fit we are and much we're growing mentally. Good times.

That had to happen. Lamela was lucky that slide he did on cech didn't go south.

We are weak from crosses.

Not sure why this is, one thing I notice is Lloris isn't what he was originally. He rarely comes off his line.

It's unfortunate but actually Lamela already banned for the next game meant a red card wouldn't have made any difference in terms of availability and maybe we'd have battened down the hatches and kept the 3 points. Who knows... in any case a great performance and 11 games unbeaten in the league. Boom ting.

He was dizzy all right. Watching Alli and Mousa running rings round him caused that.

If we aren't clinical we won't do it. And I just don't think we're clinical enough yet. We need to become ruthless in the final third.
That I agree with 100%. We need to
Get clinical. We would be clear at the top of we converted our dominance into goals in the game. Things progressing well though.

Oh well we will only take 4 points off the goons this season. I'll take that. Great display. Shame we couldn't hold on. But would have taken a draw all day long. Well played boys. Proud of you. Less proud of my goon mates who actually think they deserved to win. #deluded

So in the last week:

Villa: Win 3 - 1

Anderlecht: Win 2 - 1

Goons: Draw 1 - 1

With all the talk these days of rotation, tired players etc I'd say that's a fine week's work.

performances like today make me proud of how we are progressing under pochettino, of course some will be disappointed not to win, but not losing games is a very good habit to have.

top 4 is in our sights.

Lol. If that was Trippier, each and everyone of you would be, deservedly so, slating him. But since it was Walker, he gets no blame at all. He played good today but he had his usual massive brain dead moment and it cost us 2 points
No way was Walker at fault for that goal. You can't mark two players at the same time. End of.

Really gutted we didn't get the win we deserved but we won the moral victory. I can remember plenty of NLD's during the horrible years of the late 90's and early 00's that Arsenal dominated and we somehow emerged with a point from, just the nature of NLD's.

I think we'll finish above them this season - they're quite weak through the spine of the team and can be dominated.

So proud of our boys. You can nitpick over technical deficiencies and errors, however, for the first time in my life, you cannot fault the team's commitment and desire.
