I thought Walker was brilliant today. Fair play, Kyle. Keep it going.
I agree. He is the first spurs full back I've ever seen that I can imagine playing in a very good team at the highest level; I can imagine him playing in a Ferguson team, or a (good) Mourinho team. He's a fighter and an athlete. Rose isn't far behind. This spurs team has phenomenal potential. Just a shame we couldn't bring on another top quality striker to hold the ball up when the team started flagging; if we fill that gap in January, top four is a genuine possibility.

I tell you what pisses me off. The constant banging on about arsenals injuries. They've 2 first xi players missing - Ramsey and bellerin. All the others are squad players.

I know BUT they could have had Walcott ox Welbeck wilshere off the bench and we cannot be naive and say it wouldn't have been harder having them come on or even start

Walcott, Wilshere, Welbeck and Ox but yeah the injury excuse is wearing thin.

We have players out injured, not that anyone would know anyway...

Before the game I would have been happy with the point. At halftime I thought we would beat them handily. At the final whistle I couldn't watch and was glad of the 1 point. Tottenham, you'll be the death of me yet.

Whilst I am no longer a Levy fanboy, I thought it was our midfield that needed to be rejigged as the game wore on. Some ball retention to stem the flow.

We were awesome all over the park today. Like everyone else here the biggest disappointment is that we did not win the game. As my gooner supporting family members said after the game, this was our best chance in many years to beat them at the library and we didn't……but a tough week over with and still unbeaten since the United game is fantastic for our young and developing team……Delle Alli take a bow son 2 mom performances in the last 2 league games

Shame the best team didn't win but the most significant result may turn out to be Palace winning at title favourites Liverpool!

I have just watched the game after work. Didn't get to post during the match obviously but these were my musings.

Spoilered for those who don't wish to read my rambling.

3min - HIT IT MOOSE!!!
4min - Quality skill by Lamela. Top class.
7min - Pace of the game is unreal, bit too much early pressure for my liking, Rose looks a little vulnerable.
10min Giroud looks like Rylan. Why have I never noticed this?!
14min Result almost ruined by @King of Otters with a text. Saw "immense performance" and then quickly swiped it away. Could mean anything at this stage, glorious defeat, respectable draw or famous victory?
18min - Moussa looks up for this.
21min - how does the lino not see that palm off into Rose's face?
22min - I really love the pressing game we play. We seem to be a real team now.
24min - oooh real chance for Dier, shame he didn't go back across goal.
29mins - we seem well in this now, Arsenal remind me of me during sex, 5 mins of frantic probing and then run out of ideas.
32mins - GTFI you beauty, Kane is back!!! Glad he doesn't listen to the posters on here and passed it!! Never change Harry, never change!
36mins - grrrrr Dele should have squared it Lamela was in acres.
40mins- Alli has been quality, I wasn't here pre match but I bet his inclusion raised some question marks. Kid is going right to the top.
Half Time - These arseholes don't have anything to trouble us. Great half shame we aren't more clinical in the final third as we could be away.
47mins - and they say Kane can't hold up the ball
47mins -Hugo!!!!
50mins - oooh Eriksen so close. We are all over them now have to make this count.
53mins - lucky lucky, should be 1-1. Only sloppy bit from our defence all game and not nearly cost us. I'm not instantly nervous!
56mins - Lamela sliding in is worrying me!! Don't want to give the ref a chance to send him off.
60mins - we are fucking lucky that Giroud can't header. We need to get back on the ball. One way traffic last 5 and ref is giving constant freekicks.
67mins - epic tackle from Walker with arsenal on the counter. Different player this season. So much better from us last 5 mins. Please get another goal.
68mins- G Nev just said that Arsenal are the inferior team. I got an erection.
69mins - more brilliant defending by Walker. Motm with Alli at the moment for me.
73min - 2nd defensive change by Wenger. Nice to see us causing him to shit his pants.
76mins - FFS why did I slag off that sub? ****s. Not taking our chances is going to cost us clearly.
78mins - SOMEBODY FUCKING PICK UP GIBBS!!! I hate these arseholes, place was like a morgue for 75 mins and now they fucking think they are brilliant again. come on Spurs shut them up.
81mins - Good sub, Alli looks shot.
82mins - Can't see us winning this now. Barely even had the ball last 10 mins it seems.
88mins - tbh if it stays like this I'm actually going to be pretty pissed. We dominated today and just couldn't take our chances. This is the difference between us and Arsenal and the reason why they will finish above us again. No way should they be getting out of this match with a point.
94mins - I'm sure in retrospect I'll be happy, we are still unbeaten but they are lucky as hell and we really could have done with those 3 points. Right now I just feel frustrated that we couldn't capitalise. Just seen Liverpool lost which is nice.

Can't really understand the bad feeling about our defence, if our offence had scored the chances they made Gibbs goal wouldn't have mattered. I am not blaming the strikers either I am just making the point that we don't need a bloody witch hunt every time the opposition scores especially when we come away from one of our leading rivals in the league with a point having been well better than them.
We can show some disappointment that we didn't get our just rewards but there are only positives to take from today.

@Francis Gibbs , you can fuck off with you dohs, if you hate him that much that you can't acknowledge what he brings to Pochs tactics and his fight than you are clueless. Not that it's a surprise to anyone, you prove it time and time again.

I will let others deal with your inability to articulate yourself without resorting to personal abuse ....... but to answer what I think is your question/point contained somewhere in there. I rated your post d'oh because he ruined a sort of decent'ish workmanlike performance by becoming a liability to the team with reckless tackling after being booked to the point where Poch had no option but to disrupt the side and hook him off before he got himself sent off. So no he didn't show how much he was missed he showed a total lack of discipline which effectively contributed to us dropping a point.
Thankfully he will now get a an enforced rest period to reflect on this.

The way our young team fight for every ball gives me wood. We've got a team to be proud of now. The shirkers have been weeded and we actually play as a coherent hardworking unit. It's such a joy to watch.

Eriksen and Ozil ran more then anyone aparantly

Jogged. :D

He did do one genuine sprint at one point though, was very impressive. Think he was tracking back and murdered those yards. Was good to see. Need more of that from him when he plays outside.

Close to getting the 3 points, unhappy with the end result but we left everything we had. Proud of my team Coys...

Proud of how we played today, the lads gave everything after an intense week of games. Got to thank our away fans, created so much noise in that far corner, it didn't go unnoticed. Looking forward to meeting up with England now, some good games coming up!

Indeed we do, but i'm not holding my breath this January. Another potential fly in the ointment will come in the summer. Loris.
You can see it coming. But Hugo isn't stupid, i'm sure he can see the progress that has been made. If we keep playing like we are then you never know we might be able to keep him.

just posted some thing similar in the match thread but his lack of discipline and recklessness to the point that he had to be hooked ruined a decent'ish workman like performance and indirectly contributed to dropping points.
Some won't want to hear it but difficult for any balanced observer to deny.
If he didn't already have a yellow he would have stayed on; and getting a yellow in a game like this isn't an rarething to happen, though it seemed to be for the scum players as they should have had 2 or 3 players on a yellows as well.

Officials were rubbish today.

He'll give us this season won't he?? If we're still around the CL zone come January he should stay. Wasn't there itk in the summer saying he was fully on board this season and will see it out to see if we can do it?

Yes there was I believe. It's important to get a striker in for this reason.

It's pretty clear that Pochettino is the right man for us at this moment so he needs to be backed because we don't have any youth strikers that are ready yet. Clinton is not a lone striker and Son is probably a bit too lightweight to consistently do a job there up on his own.
