I will let others deal with your inability to articulate yourself without resorting to personal abuse ....... but to answer what I think is your question/point contained somewhere in there. I rated your post d'oh because he ruined a sort of decent'ish workmanlike performance by becoming a liability to the team with reckless tackling after being booked to the point where Poch had no option but to disrupt the side and hook him off before he got himself sent off. So no he didn't show how much he was missed he showed a total lack of discipline which effectively contributed to us dropping a point.
Thankfully he will now get a an enforced rest period to reflect on this.
Do you cut and paste the same post every game?

Shame we couldn't hang on, we seemed to be stunned at how easy it was and couldn't land the killer blow, (reminded me a bit of when Frank Bruno used to have a good fighter on the ropes but just stood there looking at him struggling rather than knocking him the fuck out)

I appreciate that Poch was in a dilema with Erik as he was right on the edge of the disciplinary tightrope but would have left him on and got someone to have a word about the slide tackles, as his energy and play on the ball was vital to what we were about today.

Still 1-1 was daylight robbery for those lucky ****s.

Glad I put my bets on us and covered the draw today and didn't lower myself to place an insurance bet on them. (although slightly tempted at 1-1)

Yes there was I believe. It's important to get a striker in for this reason.

It's pretty clear that Pochettino is the right man for us at this moment so he needs to be backed because we don't have any youth strikers that are ready yet. Clinton is not a lone striker and Son is probably a bit too lightweight to consistently do a job there up on his own.
I doubt levy will shell out for a heavy duty striker in January though, mate. I'd love us to get Vardy but they will slap a big figure on him now.

If we get anyone it'll be a Mitchell sourced jobby who's got potential imo.

You realise that by admitting Lamela being taken off disrupted the side, you are also admitting he's a key member of the team, as otherwise it would have made no difference. And if you think by being a key component of our pressing side, he was a 'liability' then you clearly have no understanding of Pochettino's philosophy.

Lamela had to come off before he was sent off.

We really need to stop allowing teams crosses from wide areas though.

Didn't you want Poch out about this time last year?

I could be critical and say we didn't create enough when we was dominant (this happens in a lot of games too) but now think we have the right manager for us given our financial constraints while stadium built.

Far from perfect but it's nice to have a team that works for each other.

I agree. He is the first spurs full back I've ever seen that I can imagine playing in a very good team at the highest level; I can imagine him playing in a Ferguson team, or a (good) Mourinho team. He's a fighter and an athlete. Rose isn't far behind. This spurs team has phenomenal potential. Just a shame we couldn't bring on another top quality striker to hold the ball up when the team started flagging; if we fill that gap in January, top four is a genuine possibility.
It's already a genuine possibility.

had giroud been sent off we would have won by three at least. Shame
