First time I done it like wise I got up and went to play on was in agony for it to giveaway seconds later

Second time I done it after surgery I couldnt move due to the pain and shock!

Unbelievably the third time I done it I was kind of used to the pain just picked myself up hobbled over to the hospital and asked them for pain relief haha

Thankfully since the last op a year ago I have been fine and slowly starting to get my confidence back not going to ever let it stop me playing

I've had to stop unfortunately. For now at least. They did some microfracturing during my last acl repair and unfortunately I can't bend my knee very well yet - inflamed and swelling some 7 months on.

Fingers crossed Jan hasn't done anything like us poor buggers. It's like an acl forum in here lol

I don't know, a few of your posts sound like a broken record. Just kidding. I tried to shoe horn that in. Your posts are very informative and interesting for the (non broken) record.

Thanks

I'd like to reiterate I haven't broken anything.

Better get in on this war wound act....I've broken/cracked some ribs, had concussion as a child and twisted two ankles...not sure which hurt more, the broken ribs which were excruciatingly painful, or the ankles... the ribs were so painful I couldn't even sleep as the ribs were rubbing against each other, while the ankles really hurt too, think I was crying at the pain. The concussion didn't hurt at all, fell over the handlebars of my bicycle while riding fast down a hill, sparked out and required a stay in hospital:cool:

It's ok Tim said it's a medial ligament
He was a doctor when he wasn't scouting youngsters at the age of 1
He also has special scan vision and can tell these things.

I done my ACL bad in a game. I knew it was bad and when I got up and put weight on it my knee wobbled and almost made me fall back down. The pain wasn't too bad but it all depends on one's pain tolerance. If I burn myself with a cuppa I cry all day long. I heard dislocation is worse than breaks and tears for pain.

Jan seemed fine until that elbow by Wickham, yet I haven't seen any news about it strangely. There were a couple of naughty stamps and barges by palace today and I don't think they're normally that dirty. I think us having 80% possession and scoring goal of the season got on their nerves a bit.

Can confirm that dislocating one's knee is incredibly painful, much more so than than the broken arm I suffered as a kid.

Ouch I think I read somewhere that @Bus-Conductor broke a finger nail writing a post once.
