Wasn't worried at all when Vertonghen went off injured, because I knew we had Wimmer to slot straight in. Think that says a lot about how much he's impressed so far.
Not sure why we'd even entertain an approach.in other news, the chairman of Schalke, Clemens Tonnies, has been speaking to Westfalische Anzeiger about the prospect of signing Spurs defender Kevin Wimmer on loan.
The Austrian international only arrived at White Hart Lane in the summer but he has found chances hard to come by and Tonnies said, “With Wimmer…we are in intensive discussions.”
Hope this doesn't materialize now, with Jan out injured. Besides, Wimmer is too good a player to allow to leave imo.
Can't see him being as solid as Vertonghen who has been top class this season. He can't get into the Austria national team so I wouldn't expect him to help us much.
Fucking hell, I do try my best to be respectable to as many on here as possible, but you are taking the piss, big time!
You NEVER have anything good to say about anything, ever!!
Seriously, you're either a fucking Gooner, or one hell of an embarrassing 'supporter'..
Too bad we can't call someone up from our academy because the whole system is in shambles, am i right? What because I have a different opinion. I do post positive things, I only said I don't feel as comfortable with Wimmer. We need Dier at CB instead of him because he lacks experience in this league.

Wimmer's ambition should be to play so well that Verts can't get back in.Quite confident that Kev can step in and do a good job replacing Verts, he`s looked solid defensively and appears comfortable on the ball too.
