We are still tweaking our play in the final third, but once we get that sorted I think we will pummel teams. Our capacity to learn is what should make other teams fear. Lamela's introduction was pivotal. I thought Son was struggling. Lamela needs to gain confidence about taking chances: I thought he could have scored when he ran through a second time, but in retrospect it was perhaps the clever thing to do.

Couple of points, Lloris was huge today in particular getting a hand to Aguero's chip in the dying minutes, and Dier who made the third most tackles and third most passes in the game. For me he was my man of the match.

For those berating Eriksen, well if Poch puts him on the team sheet then thats fucking good enough for me.

Finally am i right in saying that another eighteen points will see us qualify for a CL place?

We can all rest easy now he's got you mark of approval.

Somebody pinch me!

God I love the hunger and togetherness of this team! They clearly love Poch too.

Absolutely love it.

Sherwood used to talk about passion. Poch inspires it.

It's funny that before Poch joined we were all so downbeat and spoke about how we didn't care about our players anymore. Felt that we'd lost our identity (there were a few threads on here of that nature).

Now look at us. The following players were in that previous group that we didn't care about, and that we felt didn't have an identity: Lloris, Walker, Vertonghen, Rose, Bentaleb, Mason, Dembele, Eriksen, Lamela, Chadli, Carroll, Kane.

What our manager has done is remarkable.

Love how Poch doles out the high fives to every single player, even Vorm. If we do win it, it will be because of our unity and togetherness

Whatever happens from here til the end of the season I'm bloody proud to be Spurs right now

Just a quick one. Re watched game again tonight and in the lead up to they're equaliser they get a throw in wrongly awarded to them on half way. Clearly not off the mousse. You win some...

Just the sight of Poch embracing every player, the hug on Rose in particular, and then saluting the fans makes me so happy and beam with pride.

Whatever happens, we're doing it together. The manager. The players. The fans. We are one again. We are Tottenham Hotspur.

Flaps his arm out, the ref couldn't have seen that but it was an intentional move of the arm. I think it's a penalty.

Citys stadium is alot better in real life. Pics dont do it justice.

Having said that, the fans were pretty quiet considering how important the game was.

Arm was out, but tucked at the elbow, in an instinctive movement to maintain balance and prepare for a potential fall while still trying to keep it close to the body.

Ball then hit his side, rebounding onto his arm. I believe that it should not be a penalty, but I can understand a lack of leniency for facing away from the football.

The problem is that the ref made a call on something he couldn't have seen, or did the coverage miss the linesman being consulted?

Sorry but it doesn't hit his arm, it hits his back. But I don't give a shit, we won.
Sorry, but it hit his arm.

You can't flail your arms around and use the excuse that your back was to the ball!

What's also telling is the way he reigned his arm in (mid flight) after his arm made contact.

Not stone wall but definitely a 50 50.

If it would have been the other way around I would have been pissed off. Not a penalty for me, but at least it forced them to play a game of football. They didn't want to play for 60 minutes

Those claiming it to be a definite penalty will be those who blame the ref when it is given against us. The penalty is definitely controversial and 50/50 but we just happen to benefit from it. That's life.
