Looks like City have a few players back for this game now.
Will they be fit enough to start?

Man City haven't beat a team in the top 6 so far this season, lets hope that continues.

Any of their players that are returning from injury will not be match fit.

I predict a 3-1 away win

After seeing how good we've been recently, it's been difficult not to be over-confident. I have to keep reminding myself that City still have a superb record at the Etihad, and just because Leicester beat them, it doesn't mean we'll do the same.

Safe to say that seeing the news that Kompany and Silva are fit meant that my over-confidence/cockiness was quickly shattered.

This is still City at the Etihad with Aguero. I'll still be content with a draw.

However, I think we will win for the record.

I'm sure if I sat down with an analytical mind I would make us favourites but....I just can't do that.

I would take a point, but my word a win would be massive.

This game scares me. Feels like a trap game. I don't like it. Not one bit. Especially with Silva and Kompany both passed fit. City got a hiding last week at Leicester and will be fully motivated to show a response at the Etihad. They are going to be motivated from the whistle.

The flip side of this is that if we can get 2 early goals, it might completely deflate them.

Wouldn't surprise me if they go out of their way to crock Kane. Kind of thing I can imagine that soulless little oil money 'club' doing.

This game is as huge as the game we played against them to get our first taste of champions league football. Just an absolutely massive game I'm probably going to watch from behind the sofa

Huge!!!

Wish this was lunch time tomorrow, I'm so anxious right now. Then there's 2 games before ours on the Sunday :(

So so so nervous for this. Glad I'm not working too so I can sit and *enjoy* it. In my mind we need to match or beat Arsenal's result v Leicester to stay above them and in the process stay above City in 2nd. Somewhat Glad there is a game in the middle to take a breather and assess the result at the Emirates.

First time in a long while I feel confident about going to City. That scares me. This decent away league form (only loss to an own goal on the opening day of the season) is a sign we should go there full of confidence. As for when kick-off? Anything can happen. Take a draw now if offered, but we have the ability to win and win well.

COYS.

With a fully rested squad, Poch has some big calls tomorrow concerning full backs and midfielders. There are bound to be 1 or 2 (or more) disappointed players. Rotation isn't an issue, unless he has one eye on the upcoming EL and FA cup games, but I doubt it. The team selection tomorrow, in terms of personnel and tactics, is probably the most difficult of his tenure.

But I am sure that whatever the team, the squad will stay united behind Poch and each other.

Compare that to City, where the manager is quietly serving his notice. It's only human he'd want to succeed, but does he carry his players? Was last week a manifestation of City's disarray?

A very exiting day awaits!

Edit: By "tomorrow" I mean Sunday, which is tomorrow where I am.

The injury news is a boost for them but not as much as being made out given their lack of match fitness/lack of form.

I think our high energy and pressing will be too much for them. We must go there and play exactly the way we have been all season and not pay them too much respect which would totally play into their hands by helping to keep the pressure off their fragile defense.

Stick to what we've been doing and I think we'll win.

Tight 2-1 win for me. Eriksen and Kane with the winner. Aguero (who else) for them.

I think we'll win this and even if we don't the race for the top has a long way to go yet. Taking off on a flight at 1.30 on Sunday and landing at 5.45. I will miss the game. The first this season that I haven't watched or followed on Twitter/on line.
Will not be able to relax during the flight. lukavanderbale is under strict instructions to make sure texts are waiting on me when I land.
I do think we'll win this one though and maybe by two clear goals.

The way we're both playing we should have a clear edge, but they've got so many match winners - one swipe from a poorly performing Toure's boot and it could be in the back of the net quick as a flash.
