Rest Alli for arsenal imo, don't want him making his niggle worse. He needs the rest too. Chadli deserves a start after his recent goal scoring exploits

It's Poch's birthday, 3 points and top of the league is a great present!

Edit; Toby's birthday too!

We might not have had to play against Payet, but he hasn't had to play against Dier :sneaky:

Payet doesnt always show up, tight on him for the first 15 and he wont fancy it. He is a bit of a bully, turns it on against teh lesser teams... thats why he plays for West Ham and not someone better

Further to my point above:

Expelled for West Ham:
Adrian
Jenkinson
Noble
Collins

Expelled for opponents of West Ham:

Coutinho
Lens (Attacker for Sunderland, had a good game before the card)
Gayle
Fabregas
Ayew
Wanyama

Similar pattern in domestic and international cups.
This is simply not a coincidence, but a deliberate part of West Ham's game plan.

Who wants to take this further and email it to Poch &
Which leads me to the obvious conclusion that they will target Dele Alli if he plays knowing that a. He may be carrying an injury and b. That he does tend to get wound up and we know he has lashed out in recent times.

Yes we need the points against West Ham but if we lose or draw it can be made up against the Arse that is the more important game in my view. They could drop points against Swamsea to night, it's unlikely but they could and even if they win and we lose if we beat the Arse then it's back level again especially as Leicester only drew.
I'm lookong forward to the game tonight but Im not as worried as many on here as I feel we can make it up at the weekend. That's the game that will have me worried that's the game we have to win.

I can't remember the last time I was nervous about an evening game at half 8 in the morning. Probably the Peter Crouch/City game to get in to the CL.

Whatever happens in the next two matches we'll still be in the title race as we've seen how Leicester, Arsenal and City drop points. Our form is unbelievable since losing to Newcastle with only one defeat and one draw in the league, we should be making that count.

I think it's more imagine if we win. Would almost put scum out of sight of we beat them says. Lose and a lot of pressure goes to Saturday and even then won't be much in it. A win tonight would be ginormous. For belief too

I think this will be a very tough game. West Ham have a good record against the big teams this season and this is the biggest match of the season for them. Ironically, it's possibly become our biggest match so far as it's the first chance we have to go top of the league. Every match from now on will just get bigger and bigger if we keep winning.

I think we will miss Dembele as we always do and if Alli doesn't play that's a lot of quality missing in the middle for us.

Kane hasn't been playing particularly well of late so it would be nice to see him have a good game.

I expect to see us line up with:
Lloris
Trippier Toby Wimmer Davies
Dier Mason
Lamela Eriksen Chadli
Kane

Can't wait for this game but also interested in how it will be setup. West Ham are at home but so far even when spurs are away we dominate possession , push high up the pitch and hassle high up as well. This of course means the other team has to play counter attacking football which most of the time toby, wimmer and dier will sweep up. As it's west ham though i'm wondering if bilic will want them to dominate the game and push higher, if they don't i'm not sure west ham fans will like that we can boss them in their own ground. It might get their crowd annoyed a little and work for us.

The good thing would also be that if they do try and push high then that means we can hit them on the break more which we are lightning fast at doing.

I just had to check if my Calendar has stopped working. I was starting to think it was August.

On to the game, It's a big game and I'll be estactic if we win, I didn't sleep last night think of the enormity of it but if we don't win, there's still a long way to go.

Way less nervous this morning about this game than I feel I really should be.

It's odd but I am extrordinarily confident in this team.
