I know anything can happen in football, but they looked utter dog shit against Sunderland. It was like watching 2 sunday league pub sides hoof a ball about. Sunderland had loads of chances. We should destroy them. I think 3 or 4 isn't unrealistic.

However, only a few things concern me slightly and they are 1) the power of the derby. This will mean something to those West Ham players and their fans will be making lots of noise under the lights. 2) we may under estimate that feeling and be a little nonchalant i.e. Swansea first 20 mins and 3) their pitch looked shite.

They're a decent side and not much more than that. They are missing some crucial players so we should take full advantage.

They're unbeaten at home since August, this is going to be very tough. Id take a draw here, if we can win it would be massive going into Saturday.

Fingers crossed Leicester slip up tonight and we capitalise.

Interestingly we're unbeaten away since August. So a draw seems almost a certainty. I hope we break their record though, as opposed to them breaking ours!

They're emailing all their fans reminding them that they're the best fans in the world, but also reminding them not to be racist homophobic pricks...
Like every other game at the Boleyn Ground this season, Wednesday night’s fixture with Tottenham Hotspur has sold out weeks before the kick-off.

It is one of the reasons why this season we believe you have shown that you are the best supporters in the country. We took 7,200 fans to Blackburn Rovers and could have sold 10,000. We also received more than 50,000 calls in a day from supporters trying to buy one of our 9,000 allocation for the quarter-final at Manchester United, which is now totally sold out. And Season Ticket sales for our new Stadium continue to surpass all expectations and will be sold out within the next few months.

We are sure you will once again demonstrate why you are the best when our north London neighbours visit Upton Park for the last time.

It promises to be an extra special occasion, with two sets of passionate fans in a capacity crowd getting behind their team. Therefore it is vitally important that every West Ham United supporter attending the fixture remembers that they are acting as ambassadors for our Club and their behaviour should reflect the values and standards that we set.

At West Ham, we are rightly proud of our support for causes that promote tolerance and inclusion and tackle discrimination in whatever form it takes.

Therefore, any inappropriate behaviour is completely unacceptable and will not be tolerated by the Club, whether it be in the stadium, the journey to or from the game or any other public place.

Working with the Metropolitan Police, the Club will continue to adopt a simple zero tolerance policy towards any form of anti-social or discriminatory behaviour and any fan found to be acting inappropriately - including racist, anti-Semitic and homophobic behaviour - will be punished to the full extent of the law and banned from attending future matches.

In the rare case that you do see or hear anything you think is unacceptable, there are a number of ways you can report the matter. Two of the easiest ways are to speak to your nearest steward or police officer or use the Boleyn Ground's anonymous fan phone number - 07860 404 069 - where all calls will be treated in the strictest of confidence.

We look forward to a special night under the lights. Let’s make sure it’s one to remember.

Come on you Irons!

Seems to be some scary levels of optimism here...West Ham are not a bad side at all, and have arguably their finest player in PL history (if not longer). This is an incredibly tough game...

More confident of a win than last week but this will still be a tough game and I think Poch will drum that into them.

6 points from this week and it's very much on for the title

It'll be a different game than the one they played in the weekend. They are good when they can sit back and hit teams on the counter, and there's obviously the derby factor. However, provided Reid isn't fit, they'll be playing a back four of a makeshift right back, James Collins, Ogbonna and Cresswell.

Soaking up pressure with that lot seems a risky plan though. Bilic may well look like a hipster douche with his wool hat, but he's pretty decent tactically. He may well come up with something clever.

Never easy going there, but no reason if we play our game we can't win by a few goals.

We're the best side in the league as far as I see it... just need to prove it and keep proving it.

Shit wasn't expecting Mousa back but hopefully he's fresh and raring to go for Arsenal.

If Alli had problems during the game, then why did he play the full 90mins?

Really don't want him risked tomorrow, despite what a tough game it is.

I think it's tricky estimating exactly what kind of form West Ham are in. They've captured 11 points from the latest 7 matches, facing the 5 worst teams in the league (Newcastle, Norwich, Aston Villa, Sunderland, and Bournemouth) as well as facing Southampton (loss) and Manchester City (draw). I'm not saying we've met considerably better opponents in the same period, but given the number of points, the opponents they've met, and only 1 point from matches against decent teams in the latest period, it does make me wonder.

Another thing I've noticed, heap loads of red cards are shown when they play, both to West Ham and to opponents. 10 red cards in PL matches with West Ham, (as opposed to 1 red card in all our PL matches, 1 red card in all PL matches with ManC, 1 red card in all matches with Aston Villa, 3 red cards for Leicester, 5 for Swansea etc). Looking at all competitions, 16 red cards dealt in all matches with West Ham this season. Red cards have been mainly given to West Ham's defenders, on occasion to DMs. But when given to opponents of West Ham, it's mainly to attackers or vital midfielders.
It does make me wonder whether West Ham ... speculate in something ...
