Chill out. This is different to the Batshuyi transfer in that what AZ are demanding is well within what we usually pay for players.

Just watching that video, He scored 12 Right footed in open play, 13 Left footed in open play, 5 Headers & 5 Penalties.
Not one was outside the box but he scored from all angles.

Chill out? Yes - great. I expect that we'll see a total meltdown on SC if the transfer fails. If the deal has been done (bar the signature) then get the signature on paper right away. That's basic in business. Why wait?
AZ may be demanding well within what we usually pay now. But in a few days that might change.
Have lessons been learned from past transfer dealings? Seems not...

There is a lot to like about him, but the only things that concern me are the quality of the Dutch league age whether he has the turn of pace to get away from defenders in the PL..... we don't want another Soldado on our hands.

I think he'll do well with Trippier crosses, has a bit of chicharito's luck where seemingly the ball finds him after deflections and he's left to finish it. With Poch's training, VJ will drop some weight and invariably gain some extra pace from it.

Excited by this potential signing. Something about him (from what ive seen) how he applies himself before striking the ball you just know the ball is on target.
The fact that he is comfortable with both feet Is huge and at such a young age under the training poch will provide he will definitely improve (pace,power,phsycial strength etc just look at Kane).
On top of that he seems like he has the right attitude that will bode very well with the squad we have and I'm sure he will form great partnerships all over the pitch. Lamela/Eriksen and Janssen combo looks tasty already.
