According to De Telegraaf, West Ham United is prepared to pay €20 million for Vincent Janssen, but the striker only wants to join Tottenham.
The good news for Sullivan and Gold is that i have just noticed on Wikipedia that Carlton Cole is a free agent.

ALKMAAR - Fred Friday (21) is the intended successor of Vincent Janssen (22). AZ Tottenham Hotspur continues to refuse systematically to name a price for the coveted international, but it appears indeed to take into account the departure of the striker.

Behind the scenes, the Alkmaar in Norway after all busy following up the top scorer of the league. All arrows are then directed to the Nigerian football with the beautiful name Fred Friday. The spire of Lillestrøm scored this season eight times in twelve matches.

The likelihood that Janssen still leave through the front door of the AFAS Stadium, is shrinking by the day. The top scorer wants the whole preparation at the Spursexperience. He finds it unreasonable that technical director Max Huiberts is not satisfied with the total of 17 million already offered the Londoners and even with Tottenham wants to table.

AZ, Janssen took over a year ago to 500,000 of Almere City and so it can collect 34-fold, however, wants the prize. West Ham United is willing to go beyond the twenty million, according to the French sports newspaper L'Equipe, PSG wants. But Janssen certainly wants only to Tottenham Hotspur.

If Huiberts does not water down the wine seems an arbitration case, which initially wanted to prevent Janssen, yet inevitable. Will have to demonstrate the striker in Zeist the Champions League participant Spurs , where he can earn 15 times his current salary, sporting and financially is an improvement.

Still not close....

Vincent Janssen nearing Tottenham move from AZ Alkmaar - sources

Tottenham Hotspur are expected to complete the signing of AZ Alkmaar striker Vincent Janssen this week, sources have told ESPN FC.

Last week, Janssen accused AZ of blocking his "dream transfer" after the Dutch club rejected a bid of €18 million from Spurs but reports in the Netherlands claim a fresh offer will be accepted.

Sources have told ESPN FC that Janssen has already visited to Hotspur Way, Spurs' North London training centre, to discuss personal terms and that Spurs officials, including chairman Daniel Levy, have travelled to the Netherlands for transfer talks.

Wanyama tweeted that he was flying back to England to join up with spurs and several clubs started their preseason today. Looks like it's going to be a busy week as clubs ramp up their recruitment drives.

All the players at the Euros will be on holiday for the next 2-3 weeks (depending when their team exited). It doesn't usually get busy till August.

I think as Janssen was not at the Euros, we'd be hoping he would be working on conditioning about now. He's training with AZ but I am not sure they work to the intensity Poch demands. And of course, the sooner they are in, the more time to bed in. Player himself remarked on that very thing.
