Here's a player that has impressed me greatly at the 2016 Euros: Bartosz Kapustka. Plays for Cracovia and the Poland national team. Listed as a centre-midfielder but I believe could also play the wide attacker role. He's 19 years-old and scored 4 goals in 33 games for his club in 2015-2016. Not a great scorer but a player with great potential and self-confidence in my opinion.

Here's a YouTube link:

Tottenham Hotspur have now established a reputation for developing young players and this one could be a great addition to the Spurs' family. In view of the club he plays for and his age - I'd expect that the money required to acquire would not be unreasonable.

Anyone else regard him highly? Or not?

Klopp is an admirer "apparently"

I thought Joao Mario was decent throughout the tournament. Haven't seen him for club so not sure what his forms like there.

Not really sure where to put this but is anyone on here familiar with a young Mexican attacking midfielder called Chucky Lozano (I think Chucky is his nickname!)?

I'm not an ITK in the slightest but have posted a few times on SC in the past because an ex-colleague of mine is pals with a football agent who does a lot of work in the Americas. He told me about Enner Valencia before he moved to West Ham and occasionally he'll get told when English clubs go in for players over there.

Anyway, this Lozano kid is considered to be a pretty special talent and he says there are a few EPL clubs trying to do a deal for him.

Don't know any more than that and I have no idea if we're one of the clubs. However, thought I'd pass it on as some of you guys might know about him.

Firstly well bloody done to Potch,Mitchell and co + Levy for identifying key targets and getting them done early!!!

Our 2 gaping holes have been filled. When Moussa or Dier we're injured last year the players who filled in didn't step up so Wanyama is a great signing to plug that gap.
We all know the Kane story and we now have some much needed competition for him and hopefully a player who can play with him also.

So refreshingly we go into a pre-season with most our business done but what other positions would you like to see us strengthen?

I personally think we could benefit from a pacey goal scoring AM but they aren't easy to find/buy especially someone who'd be an upgrade on Lamela or Eriksen and those 2 + Ali and Son we're finding a great balance at times last season. If we bought one if would Mabye mean the end of Lamela which would be harsh as he was fundamental to our play last year. I'm thinking therefore we won't upgrade in this position.

Finally an extra Centre-back would be very useful especially with Jan injured. Also I personally think Dier has looked a bit shaky every time he's played there and is much more suited to DM.

Other ideas would be a young GK who can compete with Vorm and perhaps a LB with more pace to replace Davies who is a good player but for me doesn't suit our system. He could however be very useful if Potch moved to Belisa's preferred 3 at the back.

What do we think?

Another att mid that can play across the front 3 and score 10 a season would be good.

Must be talking about Hirving Lozano who was linked with Man Utd last week

Sounds like Heung Min Son to me... We should be patient and give what we've got a go. Let's not forget that Son was our best attacking player at the start of the season when Kane couldn't hit a barn door.

So you think our business is complete then or what else we need?

I agree AM wise I think give Son and N'Jie a chance and let our first choice front 3 kick on again.

Think we still need a CB and young GK and shift a couple of fringe players then done.

No far from it. I think creativity is our issue, not a goalscoring attacking mid. Too many times teams are set up in walls and we just pass it around with no aim or tempo.

I can see the headlines already as he stumbles out of 'Faces' at 2am with some half naked bird - 'Chucky Got Lucky!'

I think N'jie and Son could both seem like new signings this season as they settle into English football and Poch's methods.

Hakim Zeyich wouldn't be a bad idea.
Yes Ziyech looks very promising. Interesting too that Priya (the lady who did the now famous Janssen article) mentioned on the podcast with Fighting Cock that he was the best player in the Eredivisie last season.

Great stats from last season's Eredivisie. Clearly the best attacking midfielder in the league, to boot.

In my opinion he plays a bit in the style of Mahrez, they look quite similar the way they dribble and carry a threat. Plays as a 10 though, so would have strong competition from Alli and Eriksen.

The only doubt as I am told (I speak quite regularly with a Dutch football journalist) is that his attitude is quite abrasive. He really wanted a move last January and didn't behave particularly well apparently. Toys out of pram etc.

I've got a feeling this might happen. Seems a Spurs-like deal- he's going for €8-10m, is still young, and has just come off a fantastic season. I don't know too much about him though? Is he quick? Good with the ball? Can he beat a man?

If the answer is 'Yes' to all those questions, then it could be a good buy?
