I hope this Eriksen stuff is just bullshit. We need someone to compete/cover for him, not replace him.

We have to get out of this constantly losing key players situation if we are to establish ourselves.

So I interpret from those reply onwards: Eriksen will get what he wants and GKN will be last signing. If somehow Eriksen goes, we use the proceeds for Isco.

If Eriksen leaves, a big if, imo, I suspect it is because he is not happy playing as a AML and would rather play the #10 role somewhere.

I don't think we are moving him because we need the money, or because bigger clubs are forcing a sale.

After Bayern Munich sold Gotze, I think they need an AMC..... Plus Ribery and Robben pushing 34 so I won't be surprise if BM comes knocking our door for his service. Then again they could just get Isco and James off from RM.... So it's like waiting for dust to settle before next move.

Anyway Dortmund had been aggressive this window and BM will need to act to replace Gotze and back up Ribery. James would be best fit IMO or Bale.

Yeah I won't be surprise if it's both ways.... BM needs to beef up their AM. But I hope it is the latter i.e. Contract.

Doubt very much he'd leave this summer.

At worst, he would probably regard a run in the CL as the perfect shop window to get the best possible deal for himself either as a renewed contract with us or move a club of his choosing.

Did we ever figure out who that special player was? Imo eriksen>Isco so I hope it's not him to replace eriksen.
Sucks if he is moving because I always thought we would have until he was 26-27 going into his prime
