ya, thought about Bentley. one of the two. and you've got to consider their contribution in assessing value and for both there wasnt much, but I recall Bentley chipping in a goal or two that spring we qualified for the CL.

When Lennon was injured Bentley was actually pretty good that CL qualification season - several goals and assists from good crosses.

His biggest problem was the ice bucket meaning Harry didn't like him anymore, which is a shame as they should've been a player/manager match made in heaven in so many ways.

His biggest problem was he thought he was brilliant - we bought him in the hope he would become brilliant. He attitude was awful. The ice bucket was proof of that, being a clown and playing up to his team mates and tv. Rather than buckling down and becoming a better footballer.

Nah, Disagree. Soldado's attitude was always spot on and it was clear he was working hard. The issue was his style was completely unsuited to our team at the time and to the league, and also that his confidence was completely shot after struggling to adapt and some poor performances. Never got any hint of an ego or laziness with him. It was clear how much it was hurting him that he was so bad for us. As a player he was completely useless, as a professional though I can't fault him.

Hes a top man. Glad it's worked out for him.

One side note on the article - never get the criticism of English food from foreign players living in London. You've got more Michelin star restaurants on your doorstep than in most cities in the world, you've got access to the widest range of ingredients to cook at home, you can eat practically any type of cuisine you want. I mean what is English food anyway in London?

It's the same with American bands when they tour. I've been to America, your food is hella average.

"Oh but you don't have Taco Bell." Er what?

Probably because many of his team mates while at spurs took him to friggin' Nando's, worst thing that ever happened in the UK to dining out.

Nonsense. Thanks to all the morons who think Nando's is the perfect first date location, impressing girls is easy. McDonald's toadstalls make the ladies cry.

From their vaginas.

Soldado would have worked better with this team.

Like Lamela has for example. Lamela was always looking for little runs and tried little flicks but no one seemed to be on his page but now the flicks etc are all coming off.

Soldado was Hexed by Adebayor's Juju master. Nothing he could do as long as he was in a spurs shirt. Hex lifted as soon as he went back to Spain.

Sorry, love, I only earn a paltry one million per year. You reckon I'm taking you to elBulli? You've got another think coming.
