The Spursy thing is, when we play Arsenal, we'll turn up, put in an amazing performance, maybe even win, certainly get a draw. Then we'll be tepid for the next batch of games. I just don't know what it is about this club. It seems no matter who's in charge, or who plays for us, it's ALWAYS the same. We are complacent, only turning up when it's a big team. Sigh.

Y'all really need to take a moment and fuckin relax yourselves. We hit the bar twice, controlled the entire game, only lost a goal through a moment of individual error.

We haven't been scincillating by any means but this "AVB" stuff is bollocks. As is the "we're chokers" stuff.

We're brutally difficult to beat and we've still not lost whilst having our star player out.

Jesus Christ, I swear some of you must be new to the game. Things are better than they've ever been - we're having a stale patch - IN WHICH WE STILL HAVEN'T LOST or even looked like conceeding.

These match threads are ridiculous, childish and tiresome when some posters use them to vent every stray pass and jump down the throats of every player who dare not make a perfect pass.

Comparing Poch to AVB sigh. We barely had a chance under AVB and conceded 4+ goals on several occasions., We could have scored 4 today with a bit more luck.

We must have been watching a different game, we are completely fucking inept in attack, just because we hit the post twice means nothing, well actually it does mean something, it means we aren't clinical enough, you make your own luck in this league, sometimes luck plays a part but more often than not the better team wins, if we were the better team we would have won.

Not buying a player of gotze or isco's ability is going to hurt us this season... ability wise eriksen is nowhere near the level of coutinho , isco or gotze .. And spending 30m for sissoko and not spending 34m for mane is a punishable offense ...

And I can't say it again because this is getting criminal;

drop Christian Eriksen

This guy is wasting all the faith put in him and space given to him to create opportunities and/or open up spaces but he did fuck nothing on all these

Eriksen is stealing wages at the moment

Every half decent side have made Leicester look like shit this year apart from us. What that says about our chances this year I'd rather not think about. Arsenal are gonna hammer us unless we get our act together fast.

Christian Eriksen is taking the piss. Can't beat the first man from a corner, cant beat the wall from a free kick and cant create fuck all from open play

And you know what the worst thing is?

He knows he can get away with it. We haven't got a single player in the squad capable of providing that 'spark.'

Janssen gets all the blame for the lack of goals, but the 3 'attacking, creative' players behind him are providing fuck all

We are slowly distancing ourselves from the pack..
..the top four pack.

We need to stop this series of poor results soon, no sooner then the NLD.

You can go unbeaten for the entire season, it means nothing, what's more important is that our manager learns from his mistakes, which he isn't doing clearly as we are seeing the same mistakes week in week out.

It's so predictable, we all knew before this game what the outcome would be today, how Leicester would play and yet we still fail to prepare correctly.

It's one of two things, Poch isn't good enough to adapt and learn OR our players aren't, which one is it?

And how is that?
Poor corners, poor freekicks, no ideas or movement on throw-ins, no ideas or movement in the final third.

So we have to rely on getting in behind and turning defenders and putting the shitters up 'em, which Kyle - and rose, to a large degree, but has done ok today - are reluctant to do, as we inevitable dry up when we go central with our lack of movement and ideas.

Kyle goes round the back for the first time and we nearly score and then soon after we get a pen after the lift that gave us.

I'm super curious to know what poch is instructing Walker to do...is he asking him to drive to the line and he's not complying? If he isn't asking him to take on 1v1s then that is a problem as we are then relying on Rose who also cuts back/in too often (though to a lesser extent).

If we are not creative enough to go through the middle, yet not bold enough to get behind them in the corners and threaten with balls into/across the danger zone, where does Poch think our goals are coming from???

Wishful thinking will not do it.

We got a pen today and we're ahead, but this game isn't over at all.

This is how I see it:

We either press like crazy and discombobulate teams and then capitalise or get behind them at every opportunity and maximise chances in the kill-zone until we crack it.

A while ago I said we needed Isco and Teilemans to complete our squad; I still think that. But poch also has to show common sense and instinct for what's not working and what does/is/can and maximise our chances in the final third; not just banging away at what doesn't work hoping something will magically click.

Anyway, I'm grateful for the goal and hope we do these xxxxs.

Oh, and to our great credit they have hardly have a sniff at our goal.
