The Spursy thing is, when we play Arsenal, we'll turn up, put in an amazing performance, maybe even win, certainly get a draw. Then we'll be tepid for the next batch of games. I just don't know what it is about this club. It seems no matter who's in charge, or who plays for us, it's ALWAYS the same. We are complacent, only turning up when it's a big team. Sigh.

As it stands I think Arsenal will beat us, we won't take our chances and they will.

Every half decent side have made Leicester look like shit this year apart from us. What that says about our chances this year I'd rather not think about. Arsenal are gonna hammer us unless we get our act together fast.

Our chances at what? The title? I can tell you right now what our chances are at the title. Spoilers: It's zero. Top 4? Sure, there is a chance but unlikely when you look at the teams above us. Things can obviously change, any team can hit a rough patch. But in order to take advantage of that we need to be within striking distance when they slip up, as things are I don't see that happening.

Y'all really need to take a moment and fuckin relax yourselves. We hit the bar twice, controlled the entire game, only lost a goal through a moment of individual error.

We haven't been scincillating by any means but this "AVB" stuff is bollocks. As is the "we're chokers" stuff.

We're brutally difficult to beat and we've still not lost whilst having our star player out.

Jesus Christ, I swear some of you must be new to the game. Things are better than they've ever been - we're having a stale patch - IN WHICH WE STILL HAVEN'T LOST or even looked like conceeding.

These match threads are ridiculous, childish and tiresome when some posters use them to vent every stray pass and jump down the throats of every player who dare not make a perfect pass.
Good diagnosis, Dr M. I think these posters are a bunch of Jeremies.

Maybe. Just maybe. Arsenal will come to play football. And maybe. Just maybe. That will suit our style of play. Not. A bunch of Sunday league cloggers. Content to sit behind the ball and not lose. Yes we're in a bit of a slump goal wise. But clearly we have goals in us. People just need to relax.

The problem with your line of thinking is that the majority of it is denial and im presuming Poch also has the same thought process. The problem with thinking that things are alright and we will go through a rouch patch unscathed without changing anything is just that... you dont change anything thinking everything is fine and the patch becomes a run.

Another problem is this unbeaten issue... that is detrimental. I would rather win two and lose two than draw four. being hard to beat is great but having no potency in attack will just mean youre going to draw 38 games in a season and thats relegation fight territory.

Not sure what the fuck has happened to us since beating Man City, but whatever it is, isn't good. One thing is absolute certain, we need Harry Kane back as soon as possible.

issues run far deeper than simply cohesion between the front 4. we lack roles, nobody seems to want to run in behind, everybody wants to come short or the ball to feet. the 3 behind janssen spend more time swapping positions on the pitch than they do making runs, dembele and wanyama whilst both offering the back four great shields hold onto the ball too often and when they do finally get round to passing it is never a through ball so the 3 behind the forward stop making runs as they know the players behind them dont have either the ability or awareness to play the pass.

Patiently waiting for Pochettino to say 'it was a berry good perfomance" and that he is happy with the effort from his player.

I will lose my shit

Too bad you are picking on negativity here at this moment to have a go at some of us when our better words were probably chosen to go unnoticed..
Try writing that again in coherent English. Oh, adding dots at the end doesn't improve the post.

It's not great and clearly we are still lacking a bit of quality but it is telling that some people don't take long to start doom mongering.
Oh I agree, I like to think i'm a positive person in life. But supporting Spurs for so long, you kind of been here before and are left tainted. We absolutely are a better team than we used to be. But we're missing an opportunity here.

You can go unbeaten for the entire season, it means nothing, what's more important is that our manager learns from his mistakes, which he isn't doing clearly as we are seeing the same mistakes week in week out.

It's so predictable, we all knew before this game what the outcome would be today, how Leicester would play and yet we still fail to prepare correctly.

It's one of two things, Poch isn't good enough to adapt and learn OR our players aren't, which one is it?

Agreed although the last line should have a third 'thing' that Poch thinks everything is fine and no need to adapt or train different things to overcome the issues
