Then he should score goals when he plays

Agreed but I'm thinking more of the Leverkusen away game where we needed someone to hold the ball and bring others into play, son up top only worked for the city game and Poch seems to keep thinking we will reap the same rewards.

Regardless of the cost, I can't help but think Sissoko is a bit of a nothing player.

Hope he proves me wrong tonight, but I've written that before and it's usually followed by an anonymous performance.

Time for the squad to start proving itself...it should be good enough to start bringing in some points.
Sissoko hasn't been given much of a chance to shine - well here it is - we'll see if he is the Geordie or the Frenchman tonight.

Sunday is more important for this club as a whole, we cannot afford to drop out of the CL places this year and we can't allow Arsenal or Liverpool to win this league, we win against the scum then we put the pressure right back on 1st place.

Sunday, in my opinion, will either make or break our season in terms of our ambitions, win it then who says we can't win the league? Lose it and well, not only will our unbeaten record be gone but it will be lost to a team who are taken seriously as title contenders and our biggest rival, it's a massive game for us and for them, the momentum it will give will be massive.

Saying that, isn't there another international break right after? The very thing that fucked our momentum up after the city game.
I god damn hate international breaks.
I'm not sure Sunday will be the be all and end all of our season. A point (again) away from home at an in form Ar$e would be a result (IMO). Long way to go and we really need to get into a winning rhythm - but nope - Crappy International against a pink Scotland beckons.....does me head in.

It's an okay team, not a lot better we can do. I get playing Sissoko for rotation, but I'm just not a big fan of him. Just hope he proves me wrong. I would still have preferred Janssen up top with Son behind as I'm not sold on the idea of Son being the focal point. He's better when he gets to ghost in and make those runs from wide. Obviously N'Koudou still hasn't done enough for Poch to start him.

The one thing I truly hope for in this match is to see Dembele push forward. With Wanyama there he really shouldn't feel the need to sit so deep. He has all the abilities to attack and drive the ball forward, I just wish he uses them more often.

Dembele starting. Be interesting to see if Poch trusts playing him twice in one week.

What worked against us vs Monaco may work for us tonight , BL like to press and as we all know Wembley as a larger pitch which makes for this harder to use hoping this will allow us to play around them .
