Just curious, would anyone take shaw and 25m for Rose?
Nope, because I think keeping the same group of top players together as long as they can physically perform is so important for sustained long-term success, that unless the player wants to leave they r staying and winning at Tottenham.

Great to see him doing so well, best left back in the league for me for the past couple of seasons, there is bound to be speculation for the top players in the Prem, I see at as a sign of how well he is doing.
Don't see him moving anytime soon, just signed a new deal, is settled and rumour has it he is Poch's son!

Wasn't Poch interested before he moved to UTD? His career has stalled but he is a brilliant player, potentially just as good maybe better than rose?
Pretty sure poch was still at Southampton when they sold Shaw.
Shaw isn't half the player Danny is right now, he has a horrible injury record plus he's a Chelsea fan, and fuck Chelsea.

Considering that Ben Davies can now operate as our backup number 9, I'm not sure Shaw is even in his league let alone Danny's.

2014 shaw moved to utd, and I believe poch and shaw had a very good relationship, I remember reading that poch called him after that injury and shaw was crying down the phone. Anyway, it was just a question

Thank god you don't run our club. All players would get new contracts every 6 months because they all want more money.
Your living in the clouds if you think money isn't the no 1 priority for players

That doesn't mean they should all get new contracts all the time like you keep going on about. Rose signed a new deal in September and you want to give him a new one already...

Well I think he's gone on another level
Since then. If Man Utd and Man City are willing to pay him 150k a week, I get gaurentee you his agent is speaking to the club to up his 70k a week wages!

Never. Rose has been with us for years, knows the ins and outs of the club. He never complained, worked his ass off after changing positions, and has done everything in his power to lift us to new heights.

If we had to rank most influential players in the past 6 years, Rose would be at the top of my list. He has personified Poch's ethos from the start and has been the catalyst for our change.

Good for his agent. Now jog on and get on with your job.

Nothing like an unhappy player in your team

I genuinely don't want players at the club who are prepared to hold us to ransom every 6 months.

If we were paying players less than the likes of Everton or Southampton or other mediocre clubs like Liverpool then fair enough, but not matching City and Chelsea's ridiculous wages doesn't mean we aren't paying market rate.

I take my hat off to Rose... he deserves all the praise, adulation and credit he's getting, and some. God knows he took some pelters off our own fans a few years back, including myself.

Reading comments about how £60m wouldn't buy him let alone the pair, then thinking back to the shock, outrage and outright disgust on here when he was given a new 5 year contract in 2014.

Full credit to him and Poch.
