Only two weeks till the end of season, think that's him done for this season apart from maybe a sub appearance. With our form I doubt Poch would chuck him straight in anyway.
Had a great season, one of the best LBs in Europe now. Looking forward to seeing him again in August.

For a big pay rise, to a mega rich club challenging for honours then unfortunately the answer would probably be yes!.

If the offer is real and Danny wants to go then I can see Levy accepting it to be honest. If all is to be believed we are a still a little short on the stadium funding and a gap needs to be closed.

I tend to think there is only one sacred cow on our playing staff as far as Levy is concerned and that's Kane.

We have been here before.....

Have we? We have a whole team that would be wanted by the big clubs now.... in reality there are far more players worthy of playing in big teams than aren't. Normally it's one or two players and when they stick out like dogs nuts in comparison to their team mates they become easy to pick off by the big clubs. This time is different, we are on the verge of being that big club and we don't have an obvious weakness.

Club did a great job holding onto Lloris, Vertonghen and Dembele through that rough patch after Bale left, that spine of players was the basis that allowed Kane, Walker and Rose to grow into their roles and has really set us up for a serious tilt at the title over the next couple of years

Its unbelievable what I thought was an innocuous injury has led to him being out for so long. I'm surprised the media haven't turned it into Rose doesn't want to play for us anymore, the way they've been going the last month or so.

I really hope you are right, but players have relatively short careers and opportunities to double your money do not come along every day. I fear a few of our players will get picked off (starting with Walker this summer). Not only do we have a lot of players who have proved they can play at the top level but signing them also gives those clubs the opportunity to weaken us. The key challenge will be in managing the risk of these potential losses and getting in adequate replacements.

When we have the new stadium and extra revenue then we will be in a position to offer these big contracts and it will be a more level playing field. At the moment we are punching above our financial weight and that is a testament to the good management of Levy (sorry Danny boy but you are not getting £50 for my seat though!) and Poch.

What the hell is exploratory surgery? Why do our players have a knack for picking up innocuous yet career threatening mystery injuries?

Missing the beginning of next season wtf

They haven't said that have they, they said he'd be back for next season. Spurs tweets:

INJURY UPDATE: We can confirm that Danny Rose has undergone exploratory surgery on his left knee today.

He recently returned to training, however the problem has not resolved fully therefore a decision has been made to proceed to surgery.

He will now return to action next season.

Sorry haven't seen the official word from the club just the sky alert. Either way, I thought he'd be back for one of the two remaining games.

Using the lamela thread logic - surely this must mean he wants to leave/has depression/the club is covering it all up

Or we are just very cautious at managing injuries. We seem to want to try and avoid an operation and leave it as the last resort every time.

I love Rose - just wish he wasn't injured all the time. A really concern for me.
