As a measure of how far we have come isn't it nice that we are now in a position to openly laugh at Man Utd tapping up our best players rather than reaching for the vodka and razor blades?

It's OK we can now do that over kids that have never kicked a premier league Football, and foreign players we have only seen on YouTube for 5 minutes.
Think you are missing the mark a little bit. Nobody is saying "Oh no, Sessegnon isn't coming, my life is over". It's more "Oh no, what does it mean for what types of players we actually can get when even remarkably realistic targets are likely picking Arsenal". No, you are right. No need to worry. There is always the fascinating panic buy to look forward to, who will cost loads both in fees and wages. It's OK we can now do that over kids that have never kicked a premier league Football, and foreign players we have only seen play a couple of times.

If Kane continues to finish top scorer in the Premiership it wouldn't be surprising if he is going to ask for a new contract for wages on par with the highest earners in the Premiership and with our current wage structure/Levy history on wages will Spurs be in a position to offer him £200K a week plus or at this point would they sell him if he becomes unhappy Spurs can't offer him the wages he can get elsewhere?

If Kane went to United, they'd finish above us every season and we'd be unlikely to qualify for Champions League the next 10 years. At a cost of at least £500m. Levy will find the money needed if necessary.
And how much will they allow you to wager at that price?you can get 1/8 on him staying, that is like buying money
decent 10% return

Guys at your work saying "See Kanes leaving then?"

Agree, problem then being when other players start asking for that, current and potential signings. That's the whole problem with this strict structure, we have a lot of important players, they will all want parity.... or their agents will tell them they should.
I just can't understand how people could claim Maureen was a great manager. All his career has been based on cheating on and off the field. Before he came to England, there was a lot more respect to referees and he started the swarming the referees and rolling in agony revolution in the British Isles.

What's worse than that is working in an office where they don't even know who Harry Kane is.
