Don't you think it's a bit disrespectful to spell his name incorrectly?
Has anyone actually said he is holding us back, lately? He provided 60 million for Poch in the transfer window, which is the most I can remember us spending without some kind of player sale. Not really his fault those signings haven't worked out and he can't just provide another 60 million for Poch without getting rid of a few, we aren't a financially rich club, so that's how it goes, just have to accept it.Thought I would start a thread on this as seems to be a lot of emotion surrounding this and I don't want to block up the ITK thread again.
Levy has said that the new stadium cost will not have an impact on our dealings iin the Transfer market.
Firstly. If we look at our dealings over the past few seasons, we have been relatively consistent. We have always cut our cloth accordingly with neutral net spends.
Secondly our squad is very healthy, yes we could do with a bit more depth in a couple of areas, but we have ever since we started building this squad.
For something to have an impact would mean that it would need to have an effect, positive or negative, to what has happened previously.
What is potentially happening this transfer window is very similar to previous windows. So there will be no impact.
What we are building stadium wise will increase our revenue. When that is complete, that WILL have an impact on what we do in the transfer market. But the current status quo is being upheld at the moment.
Finally, unless any of us have 100% knowledge of what is being discussed behind the scenes, or what Poch has asked for or indeed needs, we have no idea if we are succeeding or failing on potential targets.
We are all basing our facts on Media gossip or snippets from potential ITK (not knocking these guys at all) which is always subjective.
I am no Guru and my opinion is worth as much as the next persons. But I do believe Levy when he says that it will have no impact on us. We are doing exactly the same as we have for the past 5 or 6 seasons.
And we are still building a 800m seater stadium.
In Levy I trust.
COYS!!!!

Feck me. 800 million seats. That's certainly going to boost revenue, but forget queuing for the toilets come half time.
Just my luck - I'm 800,000,001 on the season ticket waiting list!Feck me. 800 million seats. That's certainly going to boost revenue, but forget queuing for the toilets come half time.
If it was 800m seats then I don't think going to toilet would be a problem as you wouldn't be able to get refreshments either

Match day revenue will increase to a level that is similar to Arsenal, if not aboveNot my bag, but does anybody have a rough idea to what extent our revenue may increase once stadium completed?.
Is it going to make a dramatically significant increase?. Of course I'm aware other costs will increase, but I ask because some seem to think this will see us being able to compete financially with the money clubs regarding signings, and others saying the increase won't have such a dramatic effect some may think.
I see it certainly helping our cause, but I don't see it as the magic wand. I've read on many different forums that "once the stadium is built " that this and that will happen. All pointing toward untold dominance.

Sure there's already a thread on this but if you look at something basic like match day revenue (source)Thank you. But may I also ask to what extent do we envisage this will boost spending power regarding signings.
