Been saying this for weeks but good luck trying to convince the fans who seem more impressed (see brainwashed) with us saving money compared to actually, you know, trying to win something and understanding that players don't give a shit about a football stadium.
Harry Kane is a rare example of a footballer and he is a spurs fan, stop expecting every player to show that loyalty, it won't happen and frankly, if we start selling players you better expect Kane to start looking elsewhere as well, as much as he loves spurs he will want to win things, I don't blame him.
We should never have sold Walker and especially not to a rival, we just look weak and it has sent a signal out to the players and the league that we can't be taken seriously, especially considering that we are, yet again, going into the season with zero signings or having made any attempts to strengthen our depth.
It's a joke, we sell our first team RB and our most senior player and don't even replace him before we start the season with a backup option or strengthen anywhere else, despite our manager practically begging for it at this point.
It's Levy, it's always been Levy and it always will be and if we fail to win anything with this talented side before they get sold and our manager inevitability leaves because of lack of backing then it will be one of the biggest failures this league has known, irrespective of the stadium or what Levy thinks is best for the club, we can't afford to let that happen.
So TLDR, Rose is right and some people need to wake up.
Daniel Levy didn't make us concede four goals against Chelsea in the cup semi final or give the worst performance of the season in our Europa League first leg tie against Genk.
