Even though this was a terrible result, the fact that Arsenal just got smashed 4-0 kind of makes up for it. I'm surprisingly not suicidal at the moment.

When you see the Pool game you possibly will be.

Make no mistake if we play like we did today that side will mop the floor with us.

Thanks a lot Spurs!!!

Now because we are going into the international break were going to get prolonged, predictable and repetitive shit shovelled out in bucket loads from lazy journalists and every other one who wants to pipe up banging on about the Spurs Wembley curse.

All you had to do was see out the last 4 mins of injury time doing nothing spectacular and running the clock down and you couldn't even do that !!!!! Just go to your bloody room and get out of my thoughts and sight for a while, you're in the naughty corner......

I'm not even sure it's Wembley, every single season under Poch we start off like a stodgy two day old bowl of porridge, and end up like a steam train in Dec/Jan/Feb. It's surely not a coincidence.

That is true I guess, we seem to start in slow motion then pick up around November time, we produced the same stodgy performance against Sunderland and Palace last season and Stoke and Everton the season before that.

Honestly I'm fucking sick of our MO, is no one.else?

Yes we did brilliant last season l, but ffs capitalise on it.

Imagine Salah in our attack today. Just one example, why are we always leaving it this late? I can't stand Liverpool but their intensity today is another level.

We deserved what we got, we're just plodding a long, it's bizarre.

Come on, stop those blaming on Trippier ffs.. Wanyama last week, Trippier this week, Dier in between.. The entire team has to blame isn't it obvious? The naivety of the team looks like they just played together this season without a cool mentality to see the game out... Fucking depressing...

And how could we got outrun by those fucking Burnley players... We should be the fitter guys but what the fuck happened when Dyche put on two strikers we got pimped..

Fucking end the transfer window before the league season, stupid FA.. We never had a great start to the season with all those speculations towards the end of the windows..
You must of missed the part where we were getting ripped down the flank, over and over again, defending a 1 goal lead with 15 minutes left. Poor performance or not, we win that game with Walker in for Tripper. It was entirely his fault. He's just not good enough. We really require wingbacks in our system and he's just not that. He lacks the athleticism to do the job and it really shows up on bigger pitches. Like Wembley. I'm sorry for the people that just can't see the obvious.

Sad thing is, after Sissoko came on I could see this happening, instantly the game changed and Burnley got on the front foot, terrible sub.

He did actually provide two good chances for Eriksen when he came on.

The whole team was woeful today, apart from Dele looking a tad dangerous.

The players may not believe Wembley is an issue, but the problem is the opposition truly believe we are cursed or beatable their and they come expecting a result and we saw United under moyes and van gaal when the opposition believed they often got something.
Also it doesn't help we leave the bulk of our transfers late, it's debatable whether we will get the attacking options we need, as we are well aware things can change and theres very little time left.

The game today it was clear trippiers side was being targetted towards the end, he had gone awol two or three times before they scored, surely poch should've addressed that instead of sending on winks. Its clear we need an upgrade at rightback as defensively he has alot to learn.

Today was a game that gotta be won at all cost to break the Wembley curse.. Media will be all armed to hitched on that. Now not only we conceded so late in the game, we have to wait two weeks to make results count..

Really fucking hate international break!!! Fuck those international games!!!!

Regardless of the transfer window and selling Walker etc.

Even with our best 11 last year (when we had Walker) we looked woeful at Wembley, the extra 5m in length seems to fuck our players in playing the high line and compressing the opposition, thus our closing down is way off.

.
Bollocks! The Wembley pitch is no longer than most of the other away pitches in the EPL where we have done well. This Wembley argument or excuse is so over played.

We need to get Rose back on the pitch and complete the Aurier deal, at least if we get one of them that will keep their respective flanks more than occupied.

And that game just gave me nightmare flashbacks to about 6 or 7 years ago. Proper Redknappian lottery football and how to chaotically do your best to squander a lead. I thought those days were done!

Poch, Poch, Poch...
Reminds me somewhat of the Stoke 2-2 a couple of years ago at the Lane

This isn't simply not true. After Sissoko came on we had our best period for pure goal scoring chances not only in this game but the whole year. We had chance after chance and didn't convert.

Blaming Sissoko is such a typically fucking boring narrative.

Son did fuck all, Poch was justified in taking him off.

Sissoko came on and created chances. He held the ball well and generally did well.
