ITK has said we can expect a fast forward as well as a no. 10 type if RB is not signed.

Past history at this time of the year usually shows a net spend zero.

Has anyone worked out (and could share here) how matters stand with cash received from transfers and cash paid out for same? (I presume that we should include Carroll, Fazio, etc. In those calculations).

This might give us a pretty accurate idea of the sort of players we might possibly expect in the last hours of the window.

At this point, i cant see us signing a pacy player. No links to any in the press and nothing doing the rounds on social media.

Llorente and Gomes looks about it. That would be a good window. Plus a player with speed and its an excellent window.

certainly feeling more confident with our transfer business now, just hope and have a feeling we do have that wing forward lined up.... can see sessegnon coming in and Sissoko, GNK and Janssen going this evening....!

Very good window if we can get a pacy winger with Llorente, Aurier already done today, shame about Sancho but reckon we may do what we done with the man u kid....
Gards liked this...

It's either too quiet because... "nothing doing", OR, it's too quiet because something sensational is about to happen.

Don't worry mate deadline day makes mugs of us all.

Ain't that the truth. It's a drug in itself, causes all kinds of false bravado, delusions of grandeur and general hallucinations.

To wit: a couple hours ago, I had myself convinced that the pacy winger was Bale coming back.

Then I had a beer and sobered up.

Lurker tax for the year paid. Well a small donation every month. Big thanks to the mods, ITKs and all you crazy kids. Love this site.

Now can I have my pacy forward please?

Poor form? He's been fine for Barcelona. He's started about half their games and is typically amongst those subbed on. At 24 he has 41 senior caps for Benfica, 78 for Valencia and 41 for Barca. He's won a shit ton of trophies that he's been a part of (scored the winning goal against PSG in the CL). What is their to complain about? He is young, brings a mold of player in that we don't have, and has a history of success.

Eh? I'm all for him, rate him highly.

But he hasnt had a great season by all accounts, are you really disputing that?

Someone did earlier (mid afternoon) and was guided away from continuing that by Rob. Don't worry we've had ITK previously that says we have money for players if we want them. Never had ITK that we aim for zero net spend.
