This would be the ultimate Daniel Levy heist if it leads to us getting RS. DL would have worked with Fulham ownership, against the wishes of its manager, to bring in a wonderkid. I know it's not likely but damn would that be a nice way to see the window shut.

Again, desperately seems a bit strong given that we had really no problems on that front last season and we haven't lost of any of those players (with possibility that we'll see more of Lamela this season).

We had Lamela. We also played on a much smaller and tighter pitch.

Our big problem has been in keeping the ball moving quickly, something which pace is'nt going to fix.

Looks like DL and his transfer team have the ball moving pretty quickly today!

The ITK we have had all window is proving to be spot on with these great last days deals, though of course nothing is certain until it's signed and sealed. If we get Gomes and a pacy attacking midfielder we will have made a huge leap forward in the quality of the squad.
