We're not gonna sign Barkley (and pay his wages for 3 months), whilst he's out injured. Maybe we've indicated to him that we'll sign him in Jan, so he's now going back to Everton to wait patiently

Without a backup attacking midfielder, a wide forward....the best you could say about this window is solid but not spectacular. Fantastic upgrade in central defense w/ Sanchez & Foyth, I'm not sure there's a more similar like for like than Aurier to Kyle Walker so our defense is improved while still having a net negative in spending. Llorente > Janssen for what we need right now. The business we did do was very good but the business we didnt do may leave us wondering what if once again.
