in a nutshell, what did he say?Probably need to thank Aubameyang for the motivational team talk as well.

But those three in this team, and we'd win everything.Nah. King, Bale and Modric are the only players from that side who would trouble the starting XI now. We've improved hugely.
VDV was great too. Imagine Kane in place of Crouch in that team. Whilst I agree we are better in most positions we had 2/3 absolute world class players that we don't have now. Having a striker that scores 30 a season is hugely important and I think that Redknapp team could have won league with Kane.Nah. King, Bale and Modric are the only players from that side who would trouble the starting XI now. We've improved hugely.
This comment from a Dortmund fan is imo the biggest clue that Pochettino intented to do what we did the first 20/25 minutes of the game.
Hugo Lloris - Good but shit distribution
Aurier - Beast, distribution looks ok
Toby - some clutch tackles, but distribution was shit at times
Vertoghen - A man possesed, super verts, distribution looks ok
Sanchez - Beast mode, only one key pass, other than that distribution was shit
Eriksen - Runs into key position and made one godlike pass to Kane, but most of thr time distribution was shit
Dier - Versatile, good display, but needs to improve his dire distribution
Dembele - wtf mode today, atrocious distribution
Son - Runs alot, where the hell is his distribution today, f son
Kane - Scores two goals but distribution needs to improve so only a 6
I'm not arguing one way or the other, I have no idea, and actually would like to think that at least some of that was a tactical game plan because it would add another string to our tactical bow, but that snippet doesn't support the idea it was intentional by Poch does it? It merely suggests how wrong Bosz got it doesn't it?
I doubt Pochettino was please at half time with quite how penned into our own half we were, I doubt that this is ever his intention. While off the ball the deeper, more patient approach might have been the plan, I think on the ball he'd have expected us to be far better. I imagine the improved performances of Dembele, Dier, Eriksen in the second half may well have been after a bit of a bollocking.
One thing that I'm not sure has been mentioned (apologies if it has), this was the first time Son and Kane have really been synergous in their play. They found each other in dangerous areas constantly and really timed/ directed their runs in complement to each other.
