I really am concerned about Alli, his head looks like it is elsewhere, have had that feeling since preseason, part of me thinks it's down to the wages (the agent talk probably confirms this) and him believing his own hype a little too much, all the marketing he has been doing etc.

He needs to focus on the football and doing his job, I know he had an assist today and a player of his talent is capable of that but he could have equally have cost us the game with the amount of sloppy touches he was making and bad decisions.

Poch needs a word with him, looks a different player to last season, maybe next could do with being out of the team and replaced with Son for a few games.

we needed that 3 points to ensure it wasn't a poor start to season, we now only 2 points down on the same fixtures from last season.... if only we can sort Wembley issue out as got some big big games on the horizon

We have 3 tough away games out the way already though (Newcastle & West Ham always tough for us away and Everton is a tough ground) so happy to take 9 points from those 3 away games but also get them out the way.

Just hope we can get that prescious win at Wembley v Bournemouth in 3 weeks time as we need that monkey off our back

Aurier really did his best to fuck us there! He's out for the Cyprus trip 100% after that. A one off rash challenge is one thing, that tackle when already on a yellow? Madness. Even if he wins the ball it's a foul thesedays.

Even with ten for half an hour if Dele doesn't turn to Bambi on ice in the final 3rd, we score another couple.

To be honest, once the third went in we should have won by 5 or 6. Absolute different level completely to them.

Still, can't grumble. Just annoying that we conceded two to an absolute shower of shit, even if we did have ten men when both goals went in.

Their first was before the red card.

Doesn't matter how well he played up until the red card, or even if he was unlucky to get his first of two yellow cards - he's gotta cut that shit out - cos if he's going to make bad decisions and end up getting sent off - he's no fucking use to us imo.

Well thank God we won, that's really all that matters, especially against those vile small-time pricks. Can forget all about West Ham again now for a long time, whilst they seethe and burn for months with their overwhelming bitterness and obsession with us.

Until next month when we play them at Wembley.

An excellent win.
3 from 3 away from home - we'll do better away than home this season (I've said that for a while ;-)
Aurier was reckless. he'll learn from it and will be a massive positive influence for us this season.
Llorente was excellent when he got on.
Throw in Sanchez and that is 3 very good buys.
COYS!

Thing is, we up our away form to such a level this season and it's possibly creating a perfect storm for our first campaign at the new Lane...

Worst challenge today (or lack of it) was Eriksen getting skinned on the byline by none other than the silky maestro.. Mark fkin Noble.
Hang your head in shame.

Aurier makes things happen as an attacking force. He needs to rein it in as a defending force. Our first PL red card for about 2 years(although Alli, Dembele and Sissoko got equivalent bans on review).
