After visiting the taxpayers stadium for the first time I've got to say the most impressive part of the whole arena is the roof and floodlights!!

The rest of it is pretty shit. Absolutely soulless walk to and from it as well. Imagine having to play there every week, blimey

One fantastic advantage of playing there every week though is the proximity of the shops. You can literally see M&S from everywhere on the walk back and I needed some pants

3. Alli has lost confidence. There's no other explanation. He seems at odds with himself. Lost some of that joyousness and swagger. Not sure why, but I think he will bounce back. Poch needs to have a word with him. Perhaps suggest he tries to simplify his game until he gets going again.

I actually don't believe that, Dele has always been hit and miss and wasteful. Taking risks is a major part of his game, that and his superb movement. Lets not forget he started the last season pretty poorly as well.

He had a strange game against West Ham, but he was involved in all of our goals. Making a good run and cross to Kane, Making a good run and getting a shot off for Kane to tap in on the rebound as well as winning the freekick that led to Eriksen's goal. At some point, he played a sublime cross field pass to Ben Davies. The fact he does that in a game where most things don't come off for him is just incredible.

The best way for Dele to improve is not to simplify his game. That will just bring him bad risk adverse habits. I'd just tell him to keep doing what he's doing and thing will come of for him eventually.

The thing is,even when he is not playing well, he mightily effective player. We saw that again yesterday.

He has these periods where he just doesn't look right. Was the same last season. The previous season was different because he was playing cm which gave him more of the ball with game in front of him. Playing in the hole is very different. You rely on others to give you the ball, you rely on the shape of the game to give you the space. It takes confidence and a certain instinctive "feeling" for the game that takes time to come.

That being said, he is still making key contributions in most games.
The problem with the number 10 role is you see a lot less of the ball and there is less risk if you lose possession. The number 10 role is just one of those positions which is naturally hit and miss because you see less of the ball and its about trying to do something with it.

Dele is best off the ball anyway, its his running and creates space for himself and other players.

To add to this, what I love about Dele is he is always trying to do something on the ball, he never hides, he never changes. He will do the same kind of moves time and time again even if they don't come of 9 times in a row, the tenth time he will try again and suddenly something will happen.

Thats a real useful mentality and a good thing to have in a player. Much better than a player being scared and safe in possession in fear getting something wrong.

I do wish fans had more patience for it though. Dele will always lose possession a lot, things will most of the time not come off for him. But there is a reason his stats are so good, its cos he keeps trying. Its just nature of his game.

Not only are we a little bit piss poor at our own set plays - we also need to sort out defending them - The corner they scored from was awful defending - two headers, one a flick on at the near post and the second ball, Sissoko disappeared up his own arse - Hope Poch isn't happy at not dealing with the first goal and losing both the first and second balls and while their second was a thumping header - You still have to make a better job of defending balls into the box - we have three of the best CBs around but always seem to have problems with Aerial balls into the box.

Exactly

It might not be the greenest area in London or the most eye catching but compared to the walk to the London Stadium it's like walking through the Lake District!

Not a single tree or bird as far as the eye could see. Just concrete. Fucking depressing. Made Thamesmead look pretty decent

A corner they got as a result of Dele losing the ball unnecessarily, fell over and sat with his hand in the air, instead of playing to the whistle and trying to win back the ball.

Makes no real odds how we conceded the corner, it's how we then deal with that resulting corner and failing to win either headed ball - must be of some concern?

Stop shit stirring Pardew, Aurier has had a run in with the French manager? guess it’s a figment of my imagination that he plays for Ivory Coast.
Laurent Blanc was PSG manager before joining the French national team and was whom Serge had a run in with.

Of course its as concern, as well as losing the ball unnecessarily and not trying to win it back

Apparently that acid attack Saturday night was on a group of West Ham supporters who'd had a few in a local before heading home after the game

They got into an altercation with a gang of kids who were mouthing off at them. One of the West Ham punched one of them and they all pulled out acid and started spaying them

Oh you guys have my sympathies.
Had kidney stone trapped in my tubes 9 years back. Nearly blacked out with pain. Got me at work the bastard. Had to be driven to hospital.
Morphine was nice though.
Had stent put in and was pissing blood for weeks.
Quite a funny story, went to Norwich Spurs friendly and needed a piss. They had a trough. So I start pissing and these 4 or 5 guys to my right see this stream of red come flowing down the gulley lol. Caused bit of panic.
Explained it was a stone not an std.
Had to have that changed after 4 weeks of agony for a smaller stent which I felt totally normal with... until I peed. Fk me the pain was terrible. Like some crushing my kidneys. Had to grip fkin wall and brace myself. Anyway after 2 months they got it out and thankfully I didnt need another stent as can sometimes be the case.
I've made sure I always stay hydrated now and never hold on for piss. If I need a pee I go. Apparently 50% of people who get kidney stone have it again within 5 years but I've been ok thank christ.
Worst pain ever. Women reckon its worse than childbirth.
Stay hydrated people.

Anyway, football...

Apologies for going off topic but fk it hurts lol.
I had a stent last year, bloody horrible.
