Good news is man City, United, Chelsea, and arsenal our real rivals, have these extra games to play, likely against each other with more chance of injury, suspensions and fatigue

Yeah super good news our rivals are in with a good chance of winning a cup whilst only having to play a tiny handful more games to do so, that's super awesome!

Haha! Those silly clubs! They might have to play up to three more games! Yeah ok so they could win a cup and stuff at the end of it but they'll be marginally more tired than us! Guuuuuuuutttttteeeedddd lads!

Anybody moaning about the result should have been moaning at the selection before the game. It's obvious that Poch treated this as a run out for players to get minutes.

The only thing he will be mad about is the capitulation.

I actually thought the team was too strong before ko, which shows what I know.

Although, in hindsight, I would feel much better about this result if we'd played some kids, instead of a ragbag of first teamers.

I find this holier than thou attitude towards the result, competition, and opposition absolutely baffling. Yes we have some huge games coming up, but who wouldn't take winning the League Cup this year?

Embarrassing second half performance, and some dreadful decision making from Poch. Why sub Llorente when you're a goal down?!

I hope the players seriously buck their ideas up and soon, with that attitude we won't be seeing a trophy any time soon.

I would, I couldn't care less if we won it and neither would anyone else. If we won it people would just have talked about winning REAL trophies to keep our best players. We didn't respect the competition or opppsition, West Ham simply wanted to win the game more than us. I will say that the players were very ubprofessional, but shit happens. Win this weekend and all will be forgotten.

Ultimately that performance was so fucking unprofessional from the players. They should be absolutely embarrassed by that.

Bet they don't give a fuck though, League Cup after all.

Should be fined for that shit performance, there are people in the world that would give anything to be playing professional football at this level and yet our players think they are above it based on the attitudes I have seen on that pitch tonight.

Good lesson for the likes of Foyth. You can't give an inch in the English game. Rather they learned this in this competition, still gutted we lost though but I expect they are too.

The team selection was fine. Played largely on the break and whipped them. The game clearly changed and players were responding badly so we should have changed the team to get some midfielders on to control the game. Instead we left it with a gaping hole between midfield and defence, phoned it in and 100% completely deserved to get fucked up.

Some people are more concerned about downplaying people being pissed off than they are about the result, makes me wonder sometimes.

We just lost to fucking West Ham at Wembley in a competition we had a realistic chance of winning, if you are a spurs fan and you aren't fuming after that then I really don't know what to say.

Instead we have our players on the pitch walking around like they are already multiple trophy winners and fucking about, think some of them need bringing back down to earth after that.

People saying they don't care like it's a given we're gonna win the league or cl. We had a realistic chance of winning this. All the other top sides are through. This is an embarrassing loss and won't be good for morale.

Anyway on a brighter note Sissoko had another decent game, he's not superstar but was really handy and got a tidy goal today. Feel sorry for the poor bastard actually.

Please please enough with the "well on the positive side...".

No. That was a horrible performance, there are no positives. 0.
No there are no positives from the performance, but it needs to be turned into a motivational tool.
We’re I Poch I’d be reminding them of this every day up to Saturday and beyond, you embarrassed yourselves on Wednesday, everyone’s laughing at you. The only way to shut them up is to play Utd off the park. 90 minutes of non stop effort to shut everyone up.

Then do the same with RM, Palace and the goons.

Keep it fresh and keep them angry, that’s how you use this for a positive end.

I know it's not a priority, however, you can tell the frustration on show in here is mainly because we're so fucking desperate to win a trophy. Any bloody trophy.

As mentioned by a few above. If Poch isn't that bothered about it, why not just go proper youth and give a batch of our talented youngsters a run out.

It's not only that, it's also because West Ham over the last few seasons have done a number on us, we also need to be winning games at Wembley to keep the confidence flowing, it was just unprofessional and shit quite frankly.
