Do england deliberately wait to lose wickets so they can deliver crushing disappointment when you wake up?

Good fightback from England although two wickets lost have been disappointed. We needed Cook to stay there really.

Blimey it hasn't finished yet? Fair play to the boys for stringing it out. Won't turn it on though, we tend to lose wickets when I do that. Like that'll make any difference, but still. I think I'm going to ditch BT Sport though, the coverage really is crap and watching the occasional EPL game doesn't justify the cost.

James Vince caught behind. Imagine my shock.

That should be his test career in the bin. He’s clearly done nothing to address his technical issue.

Balance will be in for the next test. Let’s hope he’s fixed his issues.

You certainly won’t need it for the champions league next season.

Good fight back from England. Strange decisions from both captains (toss then follow on)

Double optimistic rating for that post - Vince will somehow still get chances it seems and I have little faith in Ballance.

Never like the idea of nightwatchmen. Why put someone in who's more likely to get out when the opposition's tails are up?

The jury is now in on BT's coverage. I give it 2/10.

> The commentary is hysterical, with way too much talking & bantz. Swann and Gilchrist kept talking about football last night and it was annoying and fucking tedious.
> BT's use of graphics & TV technology, like Hawkeye, is sloppy as hell and not that informative or creatively used.
> The use of replays is dozy, and often doesn't fit the topic the commentators are discussing. They also show replays out of order, and randomly jump back to earlier incidents for no obvious reason. When they cut back to live play, it's not always obvious it's not a replay. Also, replays are constantly crashing into the cut back to live play. So, so sloppy.
> There are too many ad break.
> There aren't enough cameras; they often struggle to find a good camera angle for contentious incidents.
> I could go on.

It gets 2 marks for charity. I like Boycott, I like having a female voice in commentary, and I give a point for overall effort in general. After that, Jesus, bring the Sky crowd back, please.

Also, timezones suck, as does having to go to bed.

Well we have done quite well to make a fight of this, but where was this fight in the first innings?
Australia should still win this, just too much to make up and that 4th Wicket will bite us I fear sooner rather than later.

Hope Root gets a ton, just to prove that he can push on and maybe give Australia something to worry over in the 3rd test.

Agree on most of this but they cant be blamed for lack of cameras, that'll be down to the Australian broadcaster...BT just get to use whatever's on offer.
Im starting to find Swann really irritating, can see why Gough punched him.

Swann is a bit of a bellend and not easy to listen to.
I could only read half of his autobiography as he came across as dick in that too.
Why did gough punch him?
