Both Llorente and Son have to play, and both Eriksen and Son need to be rested, but I'm not sure if Lamela has the fitness required to start.

...............Lloris..............
...Dier.....Foyth......Jan...
Trippier.................Davis
.....Winks....Dembele....
...............Son.................
..........Kane....................
.....................Llorente....

Subs: Vorm, Rose, Aurier, Sissoko, Lamela, Eriksen, Dele
Son has to play and be rested o_O

Dembele on the left of CM, Alli could do with a rest and Lamela would add something to our attack imo

Am I the only one that doesn’t like that Poch rotated the fullbacks every game? It’s becoming very predictable, the oppositions knows before the game who our fullbacks will be. For example against Stoke it will be Davies-Trippier, against Brighton it will be Rose-Aurier and against City back to Davies-Trippier. I don’t want both Davies and Trippier to start against City

I'd like to see us play a 433

Lloris

Trippier
Dier
Verts
Rose

Alli
Winks
Dembele

Lamela
Harry
Eriksen

I just think that this formation provides us with flexibility. And frankly, Alli has looked better playing midfield when he can keep things a bit simpler,

Not sure how ready Lamela is to start, but worse case scenario he plays a half. Preferably he lasts 60 mins and then Son comes on for him. And Sissoko would come in for Dembele after 70 mins, as we know he can't go more than that these days.

But why is that an issue ? They can also predict that Lloris , Vertonghen and Kane will all play and almost certainly Eriksen , Winks and Son.

True. But Okay let me put it like this. If Poch rotates the fullbacks every game does it mean that he’s tactically not looking at the opponent. Because for example there’s games where Trippier is more suited to and there’s other game that Aurier is more suited too, so it will happen that Trippier will start a game Aurier should’ve started

The rotation isn't an issue but the combination is. When Trippier and Davies play we lose pace and athleticism so I would prefer Trippier/Rose and Aurier/Davies to give us a better balance.

Hopefully Poch has had a word with Vertonghen and take the booking against Stoke to miss the Brighton game.

Agreed.

For example Trippier and Davies will get killed with the pace of Sterling/Sane when we play City. If he plays those two then it will show Poch's tactical naivety when it comes to certain games.

It will literally be a carbon copy of Liverpool away last year, hope I'm wrong though.
