I can understand the comparisons o Shearer, Henry and Fowler............but was Drogba's scoring record ever that fantastic? I think he only reached 20 league goals twice, and can't help thinking the legend of Drogba was far more impressive than the reality (not that he wasn't a great player of course).

Used to love watching Drogba play though, he used to batter Arsenal much like Kane does now. Scored all types of goals too. He used to have a field day against Carragher and Liverpool as well. Remember one distinctly where he controlled the ball with his back to goal and Carragher almost fell over as the ball whistled passed him.

This one, surely? Outrageous finish with his "weak" foot.

There was a point in the first 10 minutes yesterday where Alli won the ball off Boufal who clearly swung a leg at Alli. Alli made nothing of it and carried on with the game, the commentators didn't mention it at all, no replay. A bit later Alli goes past the Southampton left back and his shirt sleeve brushed past the guy's chin. Cue about ten slow motion replays with that miserable Gooner prick that's always on our games desperately trying to find an angle where he can accuse Alli of throwing an elbow.
But that didn' happen at all. Alan Smith (the co-commentator I assume you'e referring to) actually said there was nothing in it and that was an accidental incident (or words to that effect).

From Foxes Talk:
A talking fox said:
Vardy - 8 goals from 31 shots, 25.8% conversion rate
Kane - 15 goals from 108 shots, 13.9% conversion rate

Why is kanes so much poorer? Because his decision making is absolutely abysmal.

Same objective guy as above said:
Obvious biases notwithstanding, I'd still have Vardy over Kane, because he offers so much more to a side.

There’s a poster who said that to me in a match thread at the end of last season. I won’t post his name here and reveal who it was but it was absurd at the time and even more stupid now.
NAME AND SHAME!!

(Does it rhyme with Hankspurs?)
