So now we have people running to protect Sissoko by slating other players who played poor yeaterday? Oh wow.
Everyone in the team was responsible. You win as a team. You lose as team. You draw as a team. You play poorly as a team. You play well as a team. This is a team sport.I think the point is his performance Saturday was far from the worst. Yes he's been a bit of a disappointment but all this bashing for any reason gets old. If you're angry about Saturday why not criticize the ones most responsible?

Is it? I wasn't sure, every thread I walk into has someone banging on about Sissoko.Breaking: this is the thread about Sissoko. That and more on your evening local news at 6.

To be fair Sissoko failed to track Bertrand for their goal, which presumably was a large reason why he was picked ahead of Lamela, and he missed an absolute sitter to put us 2-1 just before HT. I guess arguably you could say Sanchez was more responsible for us not winning seeing as he put the ball in his own net, but that was pretty unlucky, whereas Sissoko's part in their goal was down to either laziness or just not being mentally alert enough to realise what was happening.
It wasnt inane. Sissoko played like complete shit aka his usual. We are allowed to comment on that.Is it? I wasn't sure, every thread I walk into has someone banging on about Sissoko.
Any comment on your original inane comment or shall we over look that?
Oh the absolute scenes!

No doubt, but the ideal that other people should criticise other players isn't? That was your original point, wasn't it?It wasnt inane. Sissoko played like complete shit aka his usual. We are allowed to comment on that.
I don’t think that was a sitter. It came at him pretty quick and he had to hit it on the volley. He should’ve done better but not a sitter. It was annoying though as if he got that on target it’s a goal.
well that cross came in from where Aurier was supposed to be. blaming Sissoko over Aurier is exactly the point. as far as the OG, it happens.
Mate, a professional footballer should be able to divert a ball anywhere within the posts from 5 yards out on his good foot, no matter how hard it's struck. Completely unmarked, goalie nowhere, just had to make sure he angled it straight or back across, basically do anything other than what he did. That's about as basic a skill as there is.
Aurier had no chance because Bertrand had all the momentum in his run, that's why you have people tracking back with runners. If you watch it you can see the moment Sissoko realises he's fucked up and desperately starts pointing to Aurier who was left completely isolated
Not when people are practically giving Sissoko a pass.No doubt, but the ideal that other people should criticise other players isn't? That was your original point, wasn't it?
Good lord.
Who?Not when people are practically giving Sissoko a pass.
For all these glowing posts about Sissoko's splendour
No the issue is that some posters are trying their best to look as if Levy is paying them weekly wages to go online and spout off all sorts of pro-club crap. I don't care about competing for the title as the most glorifying Spurs fan ever, because not everything about Spurs if glorious. This is exactly the issue right here, shitty little digs at people who refuse to blame everything on him.
