Everyone who is already slating Moura as a bad signing all you can do is let him play. We can only see his performance as the season draws on. IMO I think he will be able to understand and mould himself into a player Poch likes to play.

It's a bit odd some people slating a player that hasn't even signed for us yet hopefully he will, let him settle in and see what he can do I think this could be an inspired signing imo.

If we pull this through and it will cost as much as it’s been reported, we will have payed around £45m-£50m for Lucas and Aurier together. Considering you usually have to pay at least £50m for one good player these days, that is insane business.

I’m not a fan of Moura, reminds me of a cross between Dembele and Sissoko.

We need a creative, quick passing player, with a turn of pace who can also get goals.

Imho this is not Moura.

A coutinho type player to take the pressure off Eriksen.

Malcolm would suit us far better.

I fear Moura would be a “cheaper” option but will end up as a waste of money and not improve the squad.

That's Malcom, and I haven't read anything to say we don't want Malcom anymore because we are buying Moura.

Literally nothing like Dembele or Sissoko. No idea what sort of glue you've been sniffing.

Don’t get all the hate when this guy has skills on the ball that we are currently missing. Additionally, clearly has the skills to take the ball out of the back half into the front half to build up play, something we haven’t seen a true abundancy of this year.

The only thing that shocks me about this is that Poch seems to be ok with bringing on a Brazilian. I never thought I’d see this day. He’s been adamant about purging them from the squad - true argentine.

Malcom seems highly rated in terms of potential but by most accounts sounds pretty raw and would need time and development.

As far as January signings go Moura seems like the one who could come in and help us straight away so I’m all for it.

You don’t get 200 or whatever caps for PSG by being a mug and at 25, and Poch, he has all he needs to kick
on.

Agreed - if we sign Moura he will go right into first-team contention - a likely starter for most games imo.

There's been a lot of angst around his (lack of) production and numbers, but it's really not that bad.

I think everyone agrees that Dele last season and Son this season were/are both excellent in this regard. Well here's a comparison per 90 minutes:

Son 2017/18: Goals/90: 0.49. Assists/90: 0.24

Dele 2016/17: Goals/90: 0.53. Assists/90: 0.21

Lucas 2016/17: Goals/90: 0.45. Assists/90: 0.19

His numbers really arent that far off what we would expect from a front 3/4 player, and as a bonus he offers us a point of difference in the front third to what Son, Dele, Eriksen or Kane offer.

He’ll have to earn it like everyone else and I don’t think he’ll replace any of Alli, Son or Eriksen straight away but he’ll be right in the mix I’m sure.
