They did bottle it. Game was won at HT, then team had risen to Hazard's BS on how they'd play out of their skins to purely stop us.

Which they hadn't done. We lost it(not the title, the game), through getting wound up. The cards record shows that.
The cards really came in after Chelsea equalised though, its an important point to make.

Sorry, I can't find your other post. Any links to those Salah comments?

Can't find any quotes from Salah about us.

Sorry guys I don't know where to find them, if my memory serves me well it was when he was playing for Basel before going to Chelsea, about the time he refused to shake hands with Israeli players in the Champions League game.
Let me make it plain, I wasn't accusing him of antisemitism just responding to a post that refered to us being able to buy him but didn't so I was giving another angle as to why that might be so, he was young and maybe felt a certain expectation on him due to his background, I don't know.

I thought he was a Man U fan. Seems to get sexually aroused everytime they play and brings them up in every commentary.
If he's a Liverpool fan he hides it well.

Did you hear him today? Gary Neville must have looked like he'd just come out of a bukkake party after Salah's second goal.

Professional Liverpool hard-on McNumpty on the BBC described it as van Dijk 'colliding' with Lamela. The Guardian's live update was just embarrassingly pathetic. Was like reading RAWK.

Not as bad as the Mirror.

I understand the historical context to the mirror blowing smoke up their arse but this is unreal...

"Referee Jon Moss pointed to the spot well after the allotted four minutes of stoppage time, to give what appeared a ridiculously soft award to the visitors when sub Eric Lamela backed into Liverpool's Virgil van Dijk.
It was a shocking decision from the official, who also gave Spurs another dubious spot kick, after an outrageous Kane dive."

Maccabi Tel Aviv in a CL qualifier. Didn't shake hands with their players in either leg. Once you could probably make an excuse for it. Twice is just a bit too much of a coincidence.

To be fair I got so sick of commentary after 4mins I turned it off so I couldnt hear it. Maybe he's trying so hard not to be biased against them he's going the other way.
Whatever I hate the fker lol.

The pundits are Carragher, Souness and that absolute mong Jamie Redknapp! Might as well sit there with their Liverpool shirts on! Carragher and Souness are good when the subject isn’t Liverpool related. Redknapp jnr is absolutely stealing a living, he’s a complete idiot who offers nothing

Mong!!!!! Terrace language Sugar Ray...my dog is 57 varieties and he knows more about footy than dear Jamie any day but no need for 70's insults.

Why should it go back? FIFA made a rule change that favors attacking and open football. Lovern made a shit touch on the ball. Why should he be bailed out?

The problem isn't whether this decision was right or wrong, it's that the rule is interpreted slightly differently by ever referee/linesman. It's often the case that the linesman and ref disagree on decisions, and that really should not be the case

Is he interfering with play?
When does he become active?
When should the reset point be?

Etc, etc, etc. The game hasn't become that much more attacking since the rule change, just far more contentious. At least everyone knew where they stood with the old rule, and there was nothing wrong at all with how it worked

Kane was actually off side for the 1st pen

I think with the new rules, the player will be called offside ONLY when he touches the ball.

There've been many cases, in other games, where a player was in an offside position, but when a team mate of his floated the ball over the opposing defence, the said player (knowing that he's in an offside position) just leaves the ball and allows another team mate (who's not offside) to run in and play the ball. This situation would not be ruled as offside.

In Harry's case, if Lovren had NOT touched the ball, then Kane would have been called offside when he made contact with the ball.

We "lost" the game, at a club without a permanent manager, one with nothing to play for, apart from fucking us up.

Those are the facts.

I'll just reference the Dembele 6 game ban and leave it at that.
The fact is we drew the game. You can’t rewrite history.

If Klopp wants to play that high press footy, which in the first half they did very well, he needs to get them fitter. They were fucked in the second half and just couldn't hunt us down in packs anymore. Unless they score 3 goals in the time when they still have enough in the tank to press, they are always going to be wide open when their legs go. As frustrating as the first half was you have give Poch credit for sticking with it. He knew we were fitter and eventually we'd be able to play through them. Still we need to cut out the stupid mistakes at the back/midfield when pressed. We could have been 3 down by halftime. We were also wasteful up front again. Still a cracking game of footy and pleased the guys never gave up even in injury time when 2-1 down. Spurs teams of the past would have crumbled at that point.

But Lovren touched the ball which rendered that irrelevant as the linesman pointed out.

Edit: And Alli's pass came off Wijnaldum so two Liverpool players touched the ball before it came to Kane.

It did, didn't it. I thought it had when I first saw it and have been looking for a replay to check - so thanks for verifying.
