After looking at the first goal again, Djeko stuffed up but Mane definitely took out the Roma player with an outstretched leg. Should have been a foul and probably a booking.

It's actually really annoying, didn't even have the one other decent team to contest with in the group stages. It's also annoying because if they win it, no one will mention that and understandably in a sense because once you have that trophy in your cabinet nothing else matters.
Yep, they really know how to step it up in big matches. And Keita will join them soon, one of the most promising midfielders in the world. Meanwhile, we always find new ways to lose important games (against Juve and Man U) and will probably sell one of the best CB in Europe this summer. At least we will move to our new home in a while. That's a good thing.

It's far from watertight. We gave them all sorts of bother and Liverpool are better at attacking than we are.

The sour grapes need to stop. On current form and at this current moment in time Mo Salah is the world's best player. I think Liverpool will win the CL and if they do fair play to them - they are playing great stuff and performing when it matters...so far.
What it shows is that there are good players available within our budget that buying on the cheap is a false economy.

Liverpool have been very lucky with their fixtures in this competition so far, admittedly they were very good against city but fuck me they've had a right touch here.
I'm struggling to see how the fuck Roma have got so far, they look like a pub team.
