I respectfully disagree.

I think Zaha could be an explosive x factor for us, the guy is unplayable on his day and has dramatically improved his end product. He's only going to get better playing with better players.
The guy has literally pulled palace away from the drop on his own.

A good comparison is Mane when Liverpool bought him from Southampton, people baulked at the £35m a couple of years ago. But look how well he's done.
I personally think Zaha has a higher ceiling than Mane too, he just needs to be coached properly.

I'd happily spend £50m in this current market on him, as long as we got a creative ball playing midfielder too (y)

Have you even got £50m?

Funny how agents leak to media, because we have watched a player, that we have bid. Look out for some great surprises. The hands are covered. Windows are blacked out. Phones switched off-analogy, as we plan our moves, which are far advanced.

Be fascinating/stressful to see it unfold. I seem to remember Poch saying he wanted most of our business done before the World Cup in a month. Obviously this would only apply to players going (to WC) and I imagine opposition clubs would rather wait to see how their talent does in case they can jack up the price, aside from the fact Levy isn’t neciserily the quickest when it comes to transfer dealings. But still it will be interesting to see if it does have a bearing.

He’s a good player but ship has surely sailed? I’d have liked him 2/3 seasons ago but he’s stuck with palace now who are his home team, fair play but I’m just not interesting in him being our AM signing now.

Thing about him is that he needed those few seasons back at palace, he has improved immeasurably, and has improved yet again this season. Particularly his end product. He is almost the full package now, going back to Crystal Palace was a very good decision from him, and he seems to be a lot more professional than he used to be. he will be too expensive for a player we don't need though.

From the information that Hercs is providing us hopefully its a sign we are going to act real quick this season. Would be lovely to have all our deals ready to go before the world cup starts.

Poch’s talks this week with the Board went well then it seems? He better be backed this time round, there can be no more excuses of stadium debt, selling before we bring someone in, cost cutting etc.

The time for greatness is now

Has the stadium debt disappeared? I don't know what our transfer budget is, but we are not man city where money is no object.

The debt hasn’t disappeared, it is still there .

But revenue has grown through multiple streams such as playing in CL consecutively, gate receipts at Wembley , larger fan base ... no excuse there not to reinvest back into the second biggest asset this club has other than the stadium, which is the players.

Don’t want to derail the ITK discussion thread but just wanted to clarify what i meant

Maybe you should check out Pochs recent comments , to paraphrase 'the new stadium wont mean money will instantly be falling from the sky'.
You're just setting yourself up for disappointment mate.

Ah yes but since when did our club ever go into a transfer window say something like "with the new stadium we have got money to burn"?

Not transfer related unless a new player! Kit ITK. The photos for the new kit are being shot today at the training ground.

I don't know if I wanna get excited. "Some great surprises" does this mean Some thing has happened recently and we have been given the green light to sign some decent players. I Love Hercules ITK as he gets as excited as us

Real Madrid will suddenly notice something in the fine print that states he comes back to use for free. They will have been Levy'd.
