I suppose I could make the rather tepid argument that it's still only 2 players in 10 years which is nowhere near the likes of Arsenal shipping a number of their best players off to City and Utd but I appreciate that when the deal is right, Levy will likely do it.

I'm not worried about him joining Manure as sure as day will follow night, Maureen will somehow destroy him.

Based off the fact he turned in a transfer request? How many dicks do we currently have on our team then with Toby, Dembele, and Rose wanting out?
Mate they turned down £70m for him in January...the notion we're spending anywhere near that on a player with a questionable attitude isn't worth contemplating imo.
Never gonna happen.

I thought the story was that City lowballed them and they wanted to keep him for the rest of the season.
If £70m is lowballing them, then yes.
Problem is Coutinho had just gone for £140m and they obviously see him in that category.
Dreamworld stuff thinking we're signing players like that imo.

He's handed in a transfer request on two occasions, the first less than 12 months after signing a new contract then refused to turn up for training. It isn't just "wanting out", it's how you go about things. Handing in transfer requests and refusing to come in to train? Nah, stay away thanks. Anyway there's no ITK on Mahrez so I'm out before A&C shits all over me.

Toby is gone folks-La Liga, unless something ridiculous happens. Da Ligit is almost a nailed on. But again you should know I am not as brave as some. Forget Alfie Mowson. No way are we going to pay 30-40m for him. Something we are trying to do in Germany also. We have 2 positions with 2 players in mind. Watch that country. Eriksen wants to stay, but wants to be convinced in more ways than one :peeking: (watch all my wordings, and there is no puzzle with letters in there :snaphappy:

Hope that's not Arp. (Jan ITK said young striker from Germany).

Zaha is not the style of player we need to spend loads of money on, so I hope Ben is wrong.

I respectfully disagree.

I think Zaha could be an explosive x factor for us, the guy is unplayable on his day and has dramatically improved his end product. He's only going to get better playing with better players.
The guy has literally pulled palace away from the drop on his own.

A good comparison is Mane when Liverpool bought him from Southampton, people baulked at the £35m a couple of years ago. But look how well he's done.
I personally think Zaha has a higher ceiling than Mane too, he just needs to be coached properly.

I'd happily spend £50m in this current market on him, as long as we got a creative ball playing midfielder too (y)

The radar on this:
https://sofifa.com/player/239981

and the fact he's scored twice in 18 appearances.

It was all hype.
Not sure I understand the radar thing. He also played on a horrible team currently second to last place in the Bundesliga, which I believe has missed out on relegation by the playoff game the last 2 seasons. He also kills it on the national stage with 18 goals in 19 games for the u-17 side. And he's only 18, I'd prefer to take a chance on a cheap deal like him. Not too mention he supposedly idolizes Kane so can't think that would hurt learning Kane's work ethic and habits.

His wages are high and he has an uncanny resemblance to the Pepperami man.

I think Mane was a better player when Liverpool signed him, but that's besides the point. It doesn't have much to do with whether I think he's good or not. We already have Son and Lucas. We rarely play both at the same time so we're not going to play three. We'd have to sell one of them, and considering we just bought Lucas and Son covers the ST role I don't see us doing that. Unless you think he's a massive upgrade on them - I don't - then I think it's a waste of money.

What we badly need is another player like Eriksen and I'd much rather us spend whatever money we'd be throwing at Zaha on someone like him.
