“Willian done” for me. We lost one of the best ITKs ever because of it. I’ve always disagreed with him thinking it was enough for him to leave COYS. He got no abuse on there because of it and so there was no need to feel embarassed enough to leave.

The “blue and yellow” was just silly.

Both happened in what you could say was the itk heyday. So much was coming out of the club at the time compared to now where it seems it’s being closed down on by the powers that be.

I don’t remember him creating multiple accounts, although had a phase of not being on SC much so might have been at that time.

Why did he keep creating new accounts?

Eventually. After all the other links died a death. Whatever fitted the narative was my take. Leandro, rossi, ade etc... probably had gone for all and the intel was good but it seemed to shift.

That's why i hate cryptics. They can be whatever you want.

I did start to keep a list of linked players and actual transfers both in and out that Blue & Yellow could refer to but I gave up because the list got so long. The list, when I gave up at some point in 2011 was by no means the definitive one it could easily have been twice as long but you get the drift.........It could have, literally, been anyone. That's why it's winning the poll by a margin wider than Mrs A&C's arse.

Blue and Yellow for me.

However when JJ called Saha and Nelson on deadline day was the one I remember most from the ITK Thread. We were still in the Champions League and looking to really kick on with some high profile signings. The shock when the ITK was spot on was intense. If I recall that was the moment that earnt JJ his solid reputation.

That said Saha was actually pretty decent for us...

Blue and Yellow - all time classic sillyness. Im convinced it was Leandro Damio because of the colours of Brazil, and also because blue & yellow & Leandro seemed to re-appear for about 5 transfer windows.

Falcao ... goodnight, nearly made me wet myself tho'.

Good thread. Such funny memories. Loved them all but went for Fazza.

The problem with blue and yellow was that I think it started out with the best of intentions and with a single answer, but it lasted over at least two windows and became apparent that POTL was changing the answer as certain answers became not possible and other new options could fit in. Leandro, Adebayor and Rossi were three that it all was at some point. Bap Bap Americano was an additional clue for blue & yellow for instance, and possibly shouldn't be considered as its own piece of ITK. From what I remember Blue & Yellow was finally credited as being about Adebayor by POTL, purely on the grounds that he was the one player that ended up signing

Some ones that I mentioned to A&C ....

The grainy photo from the training ground of a 55 year old black man that people thought was Doumbia

The Spurs fan who ended up on an airport bus with the Schalke squad and discovered from Huntelaar that Holtby was joining us, whilst Holtby sat there in mock denial

Can't remember who it was for but someone on here went down to wherever we did our medicals and tried to blag his way inside the building to see if he could find said player lol

Jesus Christ, this takes me back to the days of Adiepf teasing us all for a roundup in the nights - i'd like to say good times but....

On a side note, the great ITK battle of Peanut vs POTL will go down in folklore - like Rumble in the Jungle!

at a guess I'd say the 3 agrees and 1 winner might be for the later part:whistle:

Blue & yellow for me, though close call was the cabbages (i wonder who thought that 1 up hmmmmm), i know it says GOAT, but I'm sure someone a little closer to home admitted to it.

Can anyone provide a summary of POTL's hits? I remember thinking he had a very high success rate but have a memory like a goldfish.
